Reef Men's Flex Sandal

Love the color but a little too small to the size

I can best describe these as walking on a cloud while getting the bottoms of your feet massaged as you go. I've been a Reef fan for many years and this is at least my 6th pair if I recall correctly. My last pair was the Slap II, which were so comfortable that I wanted to replace them after they finally wore out - but I discovered they were discontinued. Thanks to good reviews I decided to try out the Flex - and they arrived today. These are not only as comfortable as my old Slap II's, but are even more so. They seem to be made just as well too, so I expect no problems. If I get two seasons out of them then I consider that a good value in this kind of footwear, and I have yet to get less than that from any Reef product. Oh, and the size - The 12's I ordered are exactly right for my size 12 feet. My feet are a little narrow so I didn't experience any tightness, but a good and secure hold. I imagine that with an extra wide foot it might could get tight with some. My initial impression is that I love them, and Reef's track record with me gives me the confidence to leave this review.Update: After wearing these just about every day during the summer these have shown much more wear in the toe piece and in the heel area than my previous ones did. I don't want to be unfair because I have worn the heck out of these things (much more than I wore the Slap II's), but it's only been less than two months and it's about time to replace them before they fail. It sure seems like they should last longer. I'm leaving the stars as is because they are so comfortable, I'm heavier than average, and I wore them way more than average. Worn less I may could have gotten more than a season out of them. Your mileage may vary.Yet another update: I just bought another pair and they arrived yesterday - perfect fit as usual. I know, my last pair lasted less than a year with heavy use. They're still the best all around flip flops I've ever worn, even if I have to replace them annually.

My second pair. First pair lasted me Well over a year with HEAVY use. Probably should’ve worn work boots half the time I wore my last pair. These have a very thick sole & makes walking comfortable even when hiking on rocky area, wading a creek, etc. I will say, at first these are terrible. You have to really wear them & brake them in to “fit” your foot. In my case, they’ve become the most comfortable flip flops I’ve ever had & have lasted 2-3 times as long as any others. The last ones only “went bad” after the part that wraps around your foot came out while wading in some water. They were used heavily for fishing, bowfishing, crawfish hunting, etc so a lot of time in the water probably broke down the adhesive inside the shoes. Other than that they held up to daily use walking quite a bit during work, grocery store trips, around the house, etc I used them for everything 😅 held up nicely for a 280-ish pound man trying his best to wear them out.

Ok, so I have had these on for the past hour and all I can think about is what I'm going to say when I write the Amazon review--especially since I do not often write reviews. So, these shoes are saying to me, "I have your back on the arch . . . I'm here when you need me." I have tried on 14 pairs of flip flops over the past two weeks and these sealed the deal. The others (Including Nike, Sketchers and Dockers) had inside straps that rubbed on my insole. These are comfortably snug around the top of my feet (the others were always loose). These shoes have a very supportive heel that can support me leaning back on them. The other shoes either forced too much of a high arch for my foot or they had this annoying raised line at the toe. Finally, I tried the Reefs only to learn my first pair had this bottle opener on the bottom. Really?? First, I don't drink. Secondly, the whole bottle opener area seems like it will just pack in dirt that would end up on my kitchen floor. THANK YOU Reef for making a fantastically comfortable, snug, sole supportive and remarkably cushion-ey pair of flip flops that can be worn in the back yard, at the beach, or about town. I'm hooked!!

These are my second pair, extremely durable and comfortable. The only reason on getting another pair is that my old ones were starting to fade (color wise) and I wanted some new ones for the beach. Cheers

What I love about the REEF sandals where the straps come out of the bed rather than from the sides is the perfect fit. I have bought other manufacturers sandals and they are all loose compared to REEF. The Flex allows me to snugly fit my foot inside and they are so perfectly hugging my feet. I can run in these sandals without fear of them flying off. the comfort of the heel bed is so nice. I just ordered another pair in a different color. My oldest pair is over 10 years old, and I wear them almost daily, all day at work. They are bullet proof.

wanted a max cushion sandal to go a bit easier on the joints. I'm too old for the fannings. These fit the bill , but the foot side grip is very high, too much for my taste. I still use them, especially near water where they are ideal, but for social activities its a bit much. Need fanning level grip but high cushion instead of gimicky airbag

Really comfortable For walking or just hanging out. I love my Reef-flex.
