High quality set of precision scales
The scales are simple, easy to use and it feels good quality. It gets a lot of use and has stood up very well so far. The precision scales are very precise, down to single digit grams.The only small problem I find is the size of the precision platform. As the platform is quite small, sometimes it can be difficult to fit what you're weighing onto it without touching the larger platform next to it. Due to the 500g limit and the small size, you can't use a plate or similar to avoid this problem. However, this is a very minor issue and has only caused problems in a handful of very specific cases.

Simple, convenient and reliable
My wife thinks this is simply excellent and so easy to use. It is robust performs well like all her other 'Kitchen Maid' equipment. This has replaced a similar 'High Street' brand that was fiddly to use and unreliable. For me the best features are power from low cost AAA batteries and a 'positive' control knob for power that you can switch off, knowing that when you store it, the touch sensitive system won't switch back on inadvertently and run the battery down! But within 4-months it has become faulty and is unreliable - not so great after all!!

So disappointed.
I love KitchenAid products and they’re famed for their durability and longevity. However straight from the box these scales haven’t worked.Brand new batteries were placed in the scales and the numbers on the scales increased (nothing on them), backlight went off and then “Lo” came up on the screen before turning off.Despite knowing they were brand new Industrial batteries I tried two new sets, one duplicating the first and the second a cheap brand. Both with the same results.Tried to refund on Amazon but I was told the best course of action was to contact KitchenAid. I’ve tried three times and keep getting passed between websites. So I’m without scales and no funds to get a new set without a refund.Very disappointed.

Precision Measuring is great!
The KitchenAid Dual Platform Scale has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen, especially for measuring herbs and food with precision. The dual-platform feature, is perfect for handling both larger items and smaller, more delicate ingredients like herbs. This scale is amazing, making cooking and meal preparation much more efficient. It's incredibly user-friendly and looks great on the countertop too. Definitely a must-have for anyone serious about their cooking measurements!
