Pigs (Munsch for Kids) Paperback – Picture Book, May 1, 1989

What I like most is that this is a Robert Munsch book. I've read these to generations of family kids (repeatedly) ; I've had them read back to me as the kids get older. Always fun, always something to learn and laugh about.You can always see the light in their eyes as they see the kid who is the star of the story learn something.This one is, as another reviewer said, very small. I did not now this when I bought it, I will be keeping this though because I have a pocket in my purse that is "kid access ok" (saves the stuff in the rest of my purse) . This little book fits in there perfectly.... so much better than candy.A new surprise in the kid pocket.

This book is tiny! See the picture attached- I do not have unusually large hands for a woman. I'm not going to return it because the book itself is great, but my toddler will probably eat it before I read it to her.

I am sure the book itself with the writing and illustrations is fantastic. But it is 3 inches by 3 inches. I looked again at the description and nowhere does it mention the size. I know they say size isn't everything but it is when you try to sell me a 3 inch book.

I enjoyed reading this to my now 36 and 34 year old sons. It has stood the test of time as did most of Munsch's books. I reminded my son of "Hey you dumb pigs!" and he cracked up. I purchased this copy to share with a great niece. Love it as did my children. Just the right touch of irreverence to appeal to preschoolers--and you will certainly get a giggle as you read aloud.This reading teacher says it is a can't miss selection.

If you are looking for an amazing author for your children or grandchildren, look no further than Robert Munsch. Any one of his books will serve as a hilarious introduction to reading for your little ones, and keep them entertained over and over. I just ordered the book Pigs for a colleague who is expecting her first child, and the advice I gave her was that if she was looking for books that would entertain her little one, she should read Robert Munsch. Absolutely the most favored author of all three of my children as they grew up, and David's Father continues to be a favorite book to this day. Read them all!

If you are looking for a picture book that you will enjoy reading as much as children will enjoy hearing this is it! Robert Munich has authored a tale that is a joy forever. I have read it to many, many children of ALL ages and it has always been a hit. This book was a gift for a young nephew, but I still keep a copy for visiting children.

I love this book but didn't expect it to be smaller than my hand. They probably posted the size somewhere but I just assumed it would be a regular size book. It would be nice if they could post a picture with someone holding the book so you know what to expect.

I thought I was ordering a normal size paperback book . I ordered several books for Christmas presents and this was so tiny I was embarrassed to give it. I know now not to go with a third party merchant.

Have always loved Robert Munsch, his stories are adorable and my kids love the repetition

The size of the book may be small, but it is absolutely perfect for my daughter's little hands. She may not understand the story yet (just likes the pictures), but when she grow a bit older, she will laugh at the hilarity that ensues in the book!

I bought this as a gift for a 4 year old. Both he and his 2 year old brother love it and I enjoy reading it to them. It makes them laugh every time.
