** IF YOU CAN LOOK PAST THE PHYSICAL ISSUES, THE FLIMSY PHONE STAND AND YOU PLUG IT INTO AN OUTSIDE SOURCE, THIS FAN AND THE AIR IT BLOWS OUT, IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! **The pad feels very cheeply made and the bar that is used to lift the laptop up to an angle is an absolute nightmare to get it to stay in the little divits it's supposed to sit in! Not to mention the phone stand. The phone stand broke off the very first day. It's very flimsy and if ANYTHING touches it, it will break like mine. Not to mention with all the people who have said it burnt out their USB port, I am absolutely TERRIFIED to plug mine intoy laptop since I only have 1 port!! I have mine plugged into an external power supply! But I have to say... THE AMOUNT OF AIR IT BLOWS OUT IS AMAZING!!! So if you don't need the phone stand, and you can manage to get it proped up on an angle without throwing it across the room first, and you plug it into an external power source as to not ruin your PC, than this fan does WONDERS!! I was to the point where I was using my laptop as little as possible because I was afraid it would get so hot it would crap the bed! I couldn't even use it when I go out because it would get so hot it would LITERALLY burn my legs!! (This is the second laptop I have as I returned the first one for doing the same thing, I was told when I got the replacement that HP Spectre 360 "run hot", apparently even more so being I use it as a gaming computer) it even got to the point where every single time a sound played on the laptop, I would get this high pitched solid beep that would last from the time the sound started, till about 10 seconds after the sound stopped! The sound was coming from the "hard drive area" (front right bottom of the keyboard) I thought I was going to have to send it out for repair even though the laptop was less than 5 months old!! This fan has done wonders!! It's a very strong wind and it very quickly and very noticeably cools down my laptop!! Besides the minor quirks, it's been a life savor!!

I recently got a new work computer and it puts out a lot of hot air (like burn my leg hot air), I have a cooling pas that I use when I work from home, but I started to notice that at work it was making things on my desk and my overall workspace very warm so I got this cooling pad. It seems to work really well, it is very quiet and really eliminates the hot air problem.

This product I would recommend but the only negativity about this product is that the part that actually holds the laptop on is rather short and can sometimes knock the laptop off or make it slope on one side. I know why this part is short because the makers wanted to allow for your hands to rest comfortably on the laptop without being interrupted and irritated by the bulge of this piece connected to the fan. So, if used carefully and not ruggedly this product will do al that it was intended for and yes I would still recommend or purchase it again in the near future.

A lot of laptop cooling pads are a bit noisy - not this one. Even on high, it is super quiet. It has different positioning heights for your laptop - with a non-skid stopper thingy so your laptop stays put and doesn't slide off. The lights on the sides are pretty cool. I really like the bracket for a cell phone and the extra USB on the back

This is the most agitating thing that I've bought this year....and that's saying something as I've just received one item that was DOA and another that was shattered to pieces during shipping. Both items were quite expensive too.The lip that is supposed to keep your laptop from sliding off going forward is too short, so it slides off going forward. There is nothing to keep it from sliding off on either side, so you're liable to end up with a busted laptop if it slips either way. They have nodules on the very bottom part that sits on whatever surface you put it on. These are slick and doesn't keep the laptop cooler from sliding around. I've pinched my finger several times trying to get the rod to stay in place and from grabbing it to save my laptop sliding off. One would think that it would click in place once you set the angle/height you want. But instead it's hard to get it to sit in the groves and winds up being lopsided because it will go into mismatched groves. If you pick the thing up the bottom part just flops down and the height adjustment rod swings down. So while you're trying to keep this from happening your laptop will slip if you're not careful. I've pinched the heck outta my fingers several times when this occured. I mean like good grief, this is a classic case of something being badly designed. But it gets better! When the bottom part flops down and you're trying to make it say in place or if you move it the slightest and your laptop goes flying off if you grab this thing quickly to save things or to try to make the hight rod stay in place you will hear the fans rubbing against the inside of the frame from the pressure of your holding it. So this thing is not only poorly designed, but made of filmsy materials as well. But wait again....it gets better still! I saved the best for last. How about this darn thing blew out the USB port on my laptop!! So now I have to have this repaired. Because the fans in the center are so small, if your laptop heat generate around this area it won't keep it too much cooler. But at least I have pretty colors to look at once I plugged it into a surge protector power strip, after it blew out my USB port. That's about all it's good for really. For show and to look at.
