Great toy very durable, once you start the bits it’s hard to stop , they are very sturdy and enjoyable

I bought this as a birthday present for my nephew’s 3rd birthday. He loves it but I was disappointed with the look of the packaging. It came in a plastic bag (doesn’t look like it’ll stand the test of time) inside a plain cardboard box. I bought a wooden box to put it in as the toy wasn’t cheap but looked cheap in the packaging. I bought this on Prime Day with £10 off. I wouldn’t have paid full price or given it as a present in the packaging it came with. That said, I am pleased with the quality of the toy. Great colours and lots of fun! Wouldn’t hesitate to buy it for my own children.

The plastic used isn't very strong and I can tell it can easily break but otherwise it's OK. The magnets are strong enough for the price!Please be careful. My 2 year old managed to put one of the ball in his mouth... It'd be easy to swallow the smaller sticks I think so be aware!

Plastic is thin flimsy and weak some pieces arrived split and others split on first use little magnets fell out and were a choking hazard as well as weak magnets which fail to hold to together with ability to constructVery disappointed as thought would be a great investment toy

This 64pc magnetic set of chunky rods and balls arrives in a plain brown cardboard box, inside of which is an equally plain opaque white with logo plastic drawstring bag containing the pieces; it is not really suitable for gifting as it is. The drawstring bag is less substantial than the brown cardboard box and I cannot see it lasting long as a storage bag for the pieces when they are not in use.The magnetic pieces are brightly coloured and matt balls and rods in a selection of curved and straight designs. You can attach the rods together but usually the structure works best if you attach a rod to a magnetic ball before attaching another rod. They seem very robust and durable, able to put up with rough handling.There is no instruction manual that I could find; I assume they think it is fairly self explanatory as to what to do. I would suggest that you probably would not want to give to a younger child, but that it would be most suitable for 3-6 year old children and there are not enough pieces that perhaps it would engage an older child (6 years plus) as well.Given the lack of presentation then I feel the £41.99 (with a 20% voucher so about £33) price point (at the time of this Amazon Vine review) is a little pricey for what you get (hence four out of five stars).
