Not recommended as a tree topper because it doesn't plug in - battery operated - and batteries last about 3 days at best. If you want it as a tree topper, buy a bunch of batteries. Very stupid to advertise something as a tree topper that doesn't plug in to tree lights.

Q: What is the diameter of the angel's base for placing atop a Christmas tree?

I'm not certain of the diameter, It did not fit on the top of our tree. I have a 7 foot artificial tree tree that I purchased in late October (2018). The angel's base was too wide. It was also too heavy for the tree top. I used the angel as an end table decoration in my my living room. It worked out well and I received many compliments on it. I had to go out and purchase a smaller tree topper (a star) to use on the Christmas tree.
