The colors in this scarf are beautiful, and it appears to be well made, as I would expect for a Met product.

This doesn't feel like silk. It is see through and feels like polyester chiffon, not soft or silky at all, though the tag says "silk, made in China". It may indeed be silk, but not the kind I was expecting. The print and colors are nice, but the fabric doesn't feel like other silk scarves I have. Also the packaging was a cheap plastic bag. I'm returning it.

Beautiful scarf, vibrant colors, well liked by the recipient.

My purchase did not have this, which was promised as included: "Each silk scarf comes with tag that explains the history of the design on these attractive womens scarves - Scarf comes in a gold envelope with MET logo". Packaging was crushed in a tiny envelope and sloppily done, not worthy of such a beautiful gift. I had to repackage it and I was tempted to also iron it as well but I was afraid to iron silk. The written description of the underlying artwork from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the gold envelope would have enhanced this gift to my wife, but it was missing. What a pity. Please! Take time to do what you promised and do it correctly, Metropolitan Museum of Art staff!
