I recently had cataract removal surgery and I am done with contacts. The only downside is that I need readers. Since I cant apply makeup with glasses on, these are just right for the job. Some complain that parts of the glasses get in the way of applying makeup but I haven't had that problem. I could have gotten away with just flipping my regular readers upside don and covering one eye but these are ore convenient. These and small hand mirror are all that I need to fill in my brows and apply eye liner. I keep one pair in the bathroom and the other in my travel cosmetics bag. They are a little flimsy but that doesn't imterfere with what I use them for.

I've had these for a couple months now and am downgrading my review to one star. They get one star because the product looks well made, it works as advertised, and the colors are cute and it's a good price for two.However it is an engineering fail. It's a nice idea but they will not help you put your makeup on and the manufacturer has to know that so they are purposely selling something that doesn't work well. If they tested these, there is absolutely no way they could not know, and if they didn't test them, well that says something also.I hate returning things to Amazon but I may return this-- don't be like me and disbelieve the people who wrote that you can't get around these to put your makeup on because they are right -- I thought I could... I really wanted it to work... and after they came, I still really wanted them to work... thought ok, at least I can use them for the top of my eyes, but nope. They are garbage. The only way I've even been able to use them at all is to rotate the single lense up and use it like a magnifying glass, but that really only works well for my dominant hand.Don't waste your money. Also if you do buy it, don't use their guide to picking the strength. Get one that is about the same or a little less powerful than your cheater. I think think your money will be better spent on a stronger magnifying glass. Mine will be.

The clarity is not great

Well made and includes a protective pouch. This is a fun invention but a bit tricky to use because the frames cover the eye that needs makeup. With more practice it might be a useful tool but for now I prefer a simple magnifying mirror.

Got these for my wife ignoring some of the reviews about usability but unfortunately she had the same experience and we returned them. I was hopeful.They get in the way when she applies her makeup.

I didn’t even know something g like this existed. So great to put on eye make up and do your brows when you need glasses. I would definitely recommend.

I bought these because I have monovision, and one eye needs reading glasses, but the other one doesn't. These work perfectly! I had been using regular readers but tilting them up on my face to just use one lens. I'm glad to have these now, because they fit like normal glasses but I only need one side. Highly recommend!

Clever idea but the eye that you’re working on (the one without the lense) has to squint which makes it impossible to apply makeup. I’ve tried several times but it just doesn’t work

I love them, ive read some people find it difficult to put eyeliner on, i just tilt the glasses on a bit of an angle to line one eye, so long as i can see through the glass from the other eye , it works
