Nozza for Surface Pro 3 Charger Surface Pro 4 Power Supply Adapter,36W 12V 2.58 A

I don't usually bother with reviews, but I wanted to warn as many possible purchasers of this product. I left my charger overseas, so while the shipping was delayed I bought this to substitute for the mean time also it would be convenient to have both. It was GREAT in the beginning, the magnetic insert, then over time the magnetic /plastic insert was brittle and broke which wasn't a big deal(even with gentle use using the pouch, and just needed to be positioned correctly to use it, and my original charger worked fine alongside with it. The original charger stopped charging the device which made me think it was broken, where as this charger continued it's job. After about 6 months the charger got increasingly difficult to find the position to charge the device which made me look into the Surface's charging port and it looked like one of the wires got displaced. After some experimenting with a class mate's surface pro 4, the original charger worked, then tried this Nozza Charger, and it did not charge afterwards. (I might've broke his laptop just because I plugged this one in!)Luckily my surface is still under warranty and I can exchange it.PLEASE PLEASE do not buy this product :(TLDR : Nozza charger plastic is brittle and may even break your Surface's charging port and prevent other chargers from working.

The first one lasted me 1 year. I purchased it again and that lasted me 7 months. This third one buzzes when plugged in. The battery can also get quite hot. I hate to keep rebuying it but it’s in my price range. Other cords priced similarly seem to last the same amount of time. They’re all junk.

No issue with it. It gets warm so did the original one. I would get another one to have as a spare.01/15/2018 Update:Starting to fail on me. I have to put the wire coming from PSU in a certain position or it will not charge. This PSU really doesn't take that much abuse as it stays at my desk for the most part.

I bought this particular charger because I thought the bag was cute and would be nice for traveling with the charger. However, the charger itself is very inconsistent with charging. There is no light on the charger or if there is one it has never turned on. I've also had this charger plugged in all day since this morning when my computer was at 10% and 10 hours later I am only at 20% charge. Sometimes the charger charges and other times it does not which is a bit frustrating since I've only had it for less than a week. Honestly for this price I wish I had just bought another KINGDO charger.

I was excited to receive the item and loved the bag that it came in, unfortunately that is where my excitement stayed. the power pack within short period of time got very hot to a point where it was very uncomfortable to hang on to and even though the connector to the surface looks identical as factory, it would not lock in completely at times and I found it to get disconnected easily. The magnet is not strong to pull it in. Not sure exact problem but I will give 2 stars for the bag.

I have to play with it to keep the charge to stay and it takes twice as long as the original charger from windows. I will just order from windows next time if i have to replace it again.

This product seemed to last for a year but eventually fails. It did reliably charge the surface and was used for a good amount of time, compared to the OEM charger. However the strain relief on the power brick hardens and fails at keeping the cable wires robust. Eventually I noticed intermittent charging and had to wiggle this end to get it to work. Eventually it finally broke so now I have to buy a new charger. Be mindful of this when buying aftermarket chargers

I use my microsoft surface for business, and am on the road all the time. It's essential that my computer doesn't go down. My power cord died, so I bought this one based on the reviews. That was less than 2 months ago, and this new one has already died!!! In the middle of a trip!!! when I needed my surface!!!! in the middle of a big deal!!!! so I have to borrow someone's laptop?? really?? This should NOT happen!! My last power cords lasted over 2 years! I bought this one because it has a "travel case" for the cord, figuring that it would help protect it. I'm very particular about my laptop as it is my business lifeline. Wouldn't buy this cord - sucks!!!
