BlueParrott B450-XT Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headset – Industry Leading Sound with Long Wireless Range, Extreme Comfort and Up to 24 Hours of Talk Time

Fast connection. I did my usual bluetooth test where I leave a message on my voicemail while exposing the mic to a variety of noise conditions. 1. Driving 40mph while listening to radio at 25% volume. My voice came through clear and very strong. Occassionally I heard a little blurp of sound from the background, but that sound was unintelligible. 2. Driving 40mph while listening to radio at 50% volume. Voice again was clear and strong. Could hear only a few blurps of sound dropping in and out. 3. Driving 40mph while listening to radio at 75% volume. This is the highest I can bare for a short period of time without permanently damaging my ears. My voice came through clear and very strong. While there was noise in the background, it was nowhere near sounding as loud as it did in real life. Ultimately, you could conduct a conversation in this extreme environment, but your caller would have no problems understanding what you're saying. 4. Making sudden sounds, like pulling the straw in and out of a big gulp cup, jungling keys, etc. These sounds were either non-existent, or i hardly noticed them. 5 of 5 stars for noise cancelling. This is more comfortable than any of the previous headsets by Blueparrott. The earcup is soft, but it is on-ear still. I would've liked for them to make a mono headset with a larger earcup. Still comfy and able to wear for longer periods. Build is very strong. Better than that one aluminum strip across your head, this looks and feels like a real professional headset. This is the ultimate, best Bluetooth that BlueParrott has released to-date; in my mind, at least.

If i could give 10 stars i would. Very durable. Not to bulky or hideous to wear. Beyond the expected. Bettery life is great. Length of life is betond the extraordinary. 2 and 1/2 years and still work like they did the firat day. Amazing sound and comfort. A must buy especially if you have to wer it everyday. This was bought for a truck driver that has to wear a head set. The majority of everyday. He was worried that the over the ear cup would hurt his ear but it did not. He says it is very lightweight and comfortable so much that he forgets hes wearing it sometimes. His other in the ear buds always gave him a nagging nerve pain that would last hours even after taking it out and he wont go back to that style for that reason. These headphones also cancel out majority of the noise so he can actually hear what people are saying while still allowing him to hear traffic and what not around him. Also as the other peraon talking to him they can hear him alot better than tbey used too. Also when hes listening to gps or music from his phoen it comes in clear and loud and has amazing sound quality and bass. Made very very well. Extremely burable. He has broken several in the past just taking them off and on all the time. He has used these now daily for over 2 years and they still hold an extremely long charge (other ones would not even last a whole day without having to recharge) and only has to recharge once maybe twice a week at most.

This has got to be the best headset I have ever owned the noise canceling is unreal!! I have asked everyone how well cam they hear me and they say that they cannot believe I am on a head set I ask can you hear the background noise was told no I was standing next to a running riding lawnmower . I have used them to dictate a email and text and letter thes things are the best I have ever seen . I even used them on a airplane to watch a movie on my phone the sound is great! This has been the best set I have ever owned I will only use blue parrot from now on !! You can say answer or ignore when a phone call come in they tell you who is calling you can ask Siri to look some thing up or to make a phone call and not have to touch anything just say it I could go on for every thes are the best I every used here how I found out about them.I found out about them from 18 wheeler truckers I seen a set on a man and asked him about the BlueParrott on them and he told me that thes was the best one to get. so I first tried the $89 set they work well you can't use them to listen to music or tell them too answer a phone but they work well too II use them when I am working out and about at home in the yard they do okay getting a little sweat on them . . But when I am on the road I use my B450 let me add the battery life is unreal they will last for a long time !!! I would like to thank VXI for making a excellent head set for people that drive for a living that works so well !!

I bought these for when I was doing OTR types of driving. They are comfortable and easy to use. Battery life is pretty good unless your a major talker but then you can just plug them into a USB port with a long enough cord while driving. Seems to be very durable as well Mic works well.

I bought this to replace my 250-XT+ I purchased roughly 3 or 4 years ago. Now to be up front I bought a refurb as my 250-XT was also a refurb unit and still works great. I needed another since some recent phone updates the 250-XT has been dropping connection or when connecting a call I am told is extremely low audio and have to reconnect the headset and/or the call so is time to replace it. I was going to purchase the 350 but stumbled across the 450. After reading reviews on the 350 and being the 450 is the newest model I decided to go with the 450. Added incentive being I bought the 450 at less than half price being a refurb. I like the thicker headband, though it is more comfortable it still fits a bit loose and tends to slide if you are moving around too much. Perhaps over a ball cap or similar it would stay in place. The fit over the ear is ok. I would have liked a larger ear cup as this one can get a bit uncomfy on extended calls or standby wear. This is lessened a lot by placing the sponge cover over the leathertte ear piece and makes extended wear much more tolerable. The audio quality I hear is a bit flattened when compared to the 250. Not bassier just like some of the high end has been dulled. Still very clear just not so harsh. That dull does affect music but this model is not meant for music so I do not consider that a negative myself. I am told outgoing audio is very good and clear. One thing I do not like is from what I am told people are hearing more of my background noise than they did on the 250. I am easily heard over it but is to be noted. Range is very good. This headset boasts longer range with class 1 devices and I do notice better range paired with my Galaxy S8+ The programmable parrot button I find more a gimick since are only a few things it can really be programmed for. I chose to make it a mute button. I do like that it is USB chargable which makes it more compatible with other tech most of us carry for charging. I do not like how the mic rests under the band as it can be troublesome to fold up out of the way on the quick. Overall construction seems sturdy but the headband does feel like it will not take a great amount of abuse. Not as durable feeling as the metal band but does rest better on the head. Overall I like it for what I paid. I do hope it lasts like my 250 has. Again, mine is a refurb but in my experience refurbs in most cases perform exactly as new do.

It works just as I have come to expect from the BlueParrot name. I use nothing else, even if it does mean I look like a fast food drive through worker! My complaints are: It's very large on my head, and although I find the band a bit vice-like, if I move my head the right way (in a normal fashion), the thing starts to slip off due to the weight. The beep to indicate that the volume is at max is high pitched and EAR SPLITTING. The foam cover for the ear muff is quite thin, rips easy, and isn't quite shaped right. It also begins to slip off if I look at it funny. Other than those, the rest of my complaints are probably based on my ignorance on how to work it between two different devices. Function, charging, and sound are superb!

This BlueParrott B450-XT headset is, by far, the best bluetooth headset I have ever used. Build quality is top notch, and it's comfortable enough to wear all day. The call clarity and noise cancellation capabilities are simply incredible. I can have the windows down with all sorts of wind noise coming in and my callers hear nothing except for me on the other end. Battery life is also excellent. I have found it easy to get a full day and sometimes even two before the unit needs recharging. The bluetooth module in the headset has paired quickly with every device I've tried. I expect these to last for quite some time, but even if end up only getting a year of usage out of them, $12 per month is a small price to pay to consistently be able to communicate clearly with all of my customers during the work day. While it may be a little pricier than many "in-ear" models, the performance of the B450-XT simply blows them away IMHO. I would buy again; and again; and again. I am a very satisfied BlueParrott customer.

I've been using the mpow for about 6 months. For $20 it's alright! My wife kept telling me that I sounded like I was mumbling, so,,, I decided to break down and spend $100 and try the 450. 1. My wife thought I was talking to her on my actual phone when I tried it for the first time! That was great! 2. Pairing took about 5 seconds to my note 8. 3. I can hear from this way better than the mpow, and it's more comfortable! I don't wear it all day, just when I'm talking! I'm glad I spent the $$ and I'm very happy with this unit just for these reasons! I would recommend! Only reason I gave 4 stars, don't know how long it will hold up. Seems like a good product. I bought mine new, not referb. $100. ****Update, it's been 3 months, and this thing is awesome! I've only had to charge it maybe 3 times since I've had it! Although I don't use it all day long,, I'm on it 2-3 times a day, for 15-30 minutes at a time. Still holding up like new! ****Update-still working great! The headband did break where the screws are, but a zip tie fixed it good enough for me to keep using without any problems!

Ich habe es erst nach dem Lesen aller verfügbaren Bewertungen gekauft und muss gestehen, dass ich ein wenig Zweifel hatte. Insbesondere das wiederholt kritisierte Gewicht und der fehlende Tragekomfort hatten mich unsicher gemacht. ich bin Vielfahrer und auch viel mit dem Wohnmobil unterwegs, muss aber beruflich viel telefonieren. Dabei war mir wichtig, dass man als Gesprächspartner im Hintergrund nicht wahrnimmt, dass ich im Auto sitze. Wichtig war mir also die Geräuschunterdrückung und eine möglichst lange Standzeit. Merin Fazit: Ja, es ist richtig, dass es schwerer und vielleicht auch ein wenig unbequemer ist, als manch andere Headsets. Mit dieser Befürchtung habe ich es jetzt mittlerweile etliche Tage und unzählige Telefonate lang getestet. Selbst im Wohnmobil auf der Autobahn bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten und eingestelltem Radio hat niemand erkannt, dass ich im Auto sitze. Die Geräuschunterdrückung ist großartig und die Verständigung eine glatte 1. Nach 2 oder mehr Stunden am Ohr hat es dann wirklich ein wenig gedrückt. Ich habe es gelöst, indem ich es ganz einfach umgedreht und die Ohrmuschel auf die andere Seite gemacht habe. Das ist mit einem einfachen Umdrehen des Speakers möglich. Nach weiteren Stunden Dauertelefonierens habe ich es dann eben einfach wieder zurück gestellt. Mittlerweile habe ich mich so daran gewöhnt, dass es dauerhaft auf einem Ohr bleiben kann. Oft vergesse ich sogar das Abnehmen und steige mit Headset aus. Es war ein absoluter Top-Kauf und ich würde es immer wieder nehmen. Ich habe etliche Systeme probiert, die alle wegen miserabler Sprachqualität nicht weiter in Frage kamen. Hier eine absolute Kaufempfehlung für diejenigen, die in lauter Umgebung telefonieren müssen und nicht wollen, dass man das Auto (und wenn es noch so laut ist) hören kann und dabei eine wirklich excellente Sprachqualität haben möchten. Ich bin total begeistert. Ach ja .... und zu der Standzeit, die mir auch wichtig war: Ich kann tagelang unterwegs sein und habe jedes Mal immer erst nach meiner Rückkehr das Ladekabel angeschlossen. Die Akkuleistung hält tatsächlich einige Tage ohne Probleme. ich habe die Stunden nicht gezählt, kann aber versichern, dass es etliche Tage mit unzähligen Gesprächen ohne zwischenzeitliches Laden funktioniert. Unglaublich gut für einen akzeptablen Preis. Ich habe bisher noch nichts Besseres gefunden und erlebt.

Excellent receive clarity, tonality and volume level you, the wearer, hear/experience. Outstanding clarity and fullness as experienced by the people you talk to on your call. Straight-up NC, it is 5/5. I gave the noise cancellation 4/5 ,,, In the real world with different users, soft talkers beware. This is an edge-case but, if you, the wearer, are a soft talker, then the noise cancellation may be too aggressive if you're too soft a talker. At first it appears large. Worry not. It balances well when worn properly and its comparative extra size/weight just disappears. Make no mistake, though, people looking at you will take notice. We upgrade to the 450 from the 250 because the 450 is Bluetooth protocol version 4.x vs. the 250's version 2.1. Version 4.x is important because, 1) better range between you and your link-to device, 2) battery battery performance, and 3) most importantly for us, with bluetooth connectivity one version 2.x in the suite of devices your smartphone is bluetoothing with /can/ degrade other devices down to 2.x from their 4.x operations. Lowest common denominator wins. The BT version 2.x of the 250 was causing collateral issues with other co-paired Bluetooth devices. Strange but true. We have no such collateral BT issues with the 450.

Amazing mic noise suppression to almost completely cut out sound from your end. Great battery life. Sturdy and well designed. Only complaint - a little uncomfortable with a lot of clamp force on the head. Hopefully will loosen up with use.

I did pay a pretty penny on this one. I am using this for all my office meetings. Microphone is phenomenal at blocking all kinds of background noise. Sound quality is very good too and so is the battery life. It is not best at comfort though as I feel my ear heating up in Indian summer. Overall, I am very satisfied with this Blueparrott headset.
