Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, Twenty-First Edition (Vol.1 & Vol.2)

The text is perfectly readable on even the smallest Kindle e-reader, font size is adjustable and highlighting works. A dictionary can be enabled, but it is not a medical dictionary. Most tables and photographs will need to be viewed on an iPad or other device where the image can be enlarged. I had rare issues with a page turn jumping to a random place in the book, but that might have been operator error.

This book was required for a course and it arrived in perfect shape. Hardcover and durable. I’m not big on electronic versions of books for class, so this was a great option for me.

I ordered the hardcover initially. It was noticeably thicker than the previous edition. I have been experiencing eye strain when I read small fonts lately. So, for the first time, I decided to try e-book version of Harrison's, so returned the hardcover and downloaded Kindle version. It looks great on Ipad. Images/tables are high resolutions, and they can be magnified. The index is hyperlinked to the section, so it is easy to look up. Most of all, I can carry it with me and open it even while at work. With Apple pencil, it is so easy to turn pages and highlight the section I want to note.

I previously putchased an earlier edition. This is edition is much more thorough with a clear writing style.

I may be me and not the product?! But trying to use the INDEX to reach a word (EVEN THOSE CAPITALIZED AND WITH BOLD FONT foe example ACNE VULGARIS) let me land in an irrelivant page with bulky text never showing the searched word precisely. I had to navigate several pages to see that word. Is this a bug or a user misunderstanding how to search?

Was excited to get my order of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine, Twenty-First Edition (Vol.1 & Vol.2): 1-2 a day after I placed my order. It was going to be a present for my daughter who is in medical school. But only Volume 2 was delivered today. This book has 2 volumes and is advertised clearly with 2 volumes. And it seems like I'm not the only customer who has had this experience with Books Royale based on the other reviews. Books Royale, I will be waiting for your timely response within the next 48 hours.

I have used Harrison’s dice I was a medical student in the 80s. I purchased the Kindle version of the 21st Edition for reading and clinical reference as an emergency physician. It’s fantastic to be able to access a four thousand printed page high yield resource from your lab coat pocket. I strongly recommend it to every medical student, resident, and clinician. Great value!
