On the bottom left of the label is an arrow indicating to peal it back. The instructions are on the backside of the label.

Compatible with ceramic pads

I use this product on my ceramic break pads, if you soak the pads in the entire bottle for 25-30 minutes it works wonders.

Does this negatively affect brake pad performance or longevity?

Not that I have experienced! This stuff works great. I soak my break pads in this for a few minutes then install them. I haven’t noticed any decrease.
