using this to ease the pain of trigger thumb, which was quite considerable. The brace is making a big difference. The thumb is fully supported and not in danger of bending and so causing more damage. I'm pleased I bought it. The price was much cheaper than that quoted by other sellers.

These thumb splints are 100% in every way. They are lightweight yet feel strong when they are worn, which gives confidence that they will be doing nothing but good. Fitting both left and right hands, they just make ;ice that much better. Only just received them so don't know about washing instructions but if the rest is anything to go by, there won't be a problem. You are unaware you have them on and being neoprene , they are strong enough for almost anything.

Secondary help for thumb when in pain

I have joint pain in both thumbs. This brace definitely helps protect and support them, especially when doing thinks like lifting dumbbells, which I know tends to cause irritation. It is too bulky to wear in bed, but I don't really need that anyway. I'd buy again.

I was having trouble with my thumb and have tried otherbraces but made no difference.This one though works well for me and am pleased with it.

I like the idea that it can be used for either hand. It did offer full support when needed. I can't say it reduced the pain, not even the pain killers can do that when it flares up, but it does restrict the movement that can intensify the pain. Well worth getting.
