Great product. A couple of watch-outs.
You’ll need a drill, 6mm masonry drill bit and rawplugs. It come with quality roundheaded screws. I fitted it to a solid wall because there’s repetitive downward force involved in its operation. I don’t think I’d be happy fitting it to a stud wall unless you can align the top 3 screws to a timber crossbeam. It performs very well and kids love it. It’s a good way to get them into recycling and helping with a chore. It really does save space in the recycling bag, probably 75% reduction. We’ve found the occasional can puts up excessive resistance and requires a lot of force, hence my comment about a solid wall being preferable. Also, one watch out, make sure the cans are empty as leaks and spills (putting the can in upside down) will put liquid down your wall.

Strong, Easy, and Satisfying
Really impressed with this can crusher. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and flattens cans with minimal effort. The handle action is smooth and strong, and it saves loads of space in the recycling bin. Best of all, it actually makes recycling fun – there’s something very satisfying about crushing a can flat!

Bought to crush cans (duh) as there is a lad who goes around collecting them - crushes energy drink cans to cans of alcohol

Squash it flat👍
Now mounted correctly, no issues, easy enough to use, create little dent top under lip of can, to make squash easier... Explain that better, tip,,, deserts a heart... Can is strong if don't do before squash, top bottom of can, place it in 1st, side of can at top lip, just push in a little dent top edge,,, similar as if was to squash it by hand in middle, and then squash it flat. Well worth the £...

Need to be very strong.
Product is certainly heavy duty and arrived promptly. However you need to be Hercules to actually crush a can with this as it is otherwise impossible to crush a can with this.

Works well for our beer cans
Read other reviews and took their advice Need longer screws and when up put a dent in the can Then hey presto it works wonderfully Gonna save us loads of room in the recycling bin . We get through alot of beer 🍺
