Best unit on the market. Signal is great. They spent a ton of time engineering a great product. I spent a lot of money buying the unit. Giving it a 3 star as the mount has virtually zero engineering time devoted to it. Such a simple thing but extremely important for functionality. HCI's design is two dimensional with an adhesive base. Very limited in mounting as line-of-sight cannot be modified. Very difficult to get the right placement for viewingI have a motorhome and the entire dash is curved and scalloped. No place to permanently adhere this mount. HCI, take a look at any Garmin GPS mount. Garmin provides a well designed suction mount and works in 3 planes of motion. Not rocket science. I built my own using HCI's attachment component and epoxying it to an extra Garmin GPS mount I had. Now functions great. Spend some design time on useability.April 2014 addendum: I needed to add a signal booster for reliability. Had to call the customer service number 4 times including giving my credit card twice as they lost the information. Took almost 2 weeks to get an in-stock item shipped. Had some traditional issues with the signal from one of the sensors. Sent message without response. Bottom line is if you buy this unit off Amazon it will be shipped. Customer service is terrible. No good technical support. Wish I would have bought a different unit. One positive is once I did finally get the signal booster shipped they knocked about $30 off the price. Would have preferred to pay the $30 and get good customer service. Downgrading the unit from 3 stars to 2
