I have had my eye on this blanket for quite some time and finally decided to purchase it for my son (7 months), who loves his aden + anais swaddle wraps (especially his cozy swaddle wrap with the fish). I wanted to find a blanket that my son can grow up with and use year-round. It's nice and big and has the quality I expect from this brand. It's also super-soft and thick, right out of the package, but I love that it won't over-heat my baby.The reason this model costs more than the others you might be looking at is it actually has 6 layers of muslin, as opposed to the other dream blankets with only 4 layers. It is called "extra warm and cozy" on the packaging. This brand's "cozy" line of swaddles and dream blankets is higher quality, thicker, and softer than the classic counterparts. This information isn't clearly expressed anywhere I have looked so I hope it helps anyone looking at these products. If you're looking for the softest, thickest muslin dream blanket, look no further!

I was looking for a blanket for my 2yr old son that is durable & wouldn't make him too hot while he sleeps. I read a lot of reviews about the stitching coming loose after washing, but decided to take a chance and I'm so glad I did!!! The design of the dogs is adorable, it's very soft, and breathable!! it's also a decent size. I washed it on the gentle cycle and had no issues with the stitching!!! I do wish it was just a little bit bigger, maybe big enough to cover a twin size bed because I'll be very sad when he outgrows it. Otherwise it was worth every penny!

My daughter has Caden lane bedding but they don't make a toddler bed sized blanket for the bedding. Now it should be stated that my daughter is in love with the bamboo earthly blankets that are just a single layer. We have used them since she was born and she lives and dies by her blankies. However, when I tried getting different blankets for her toddler bed she was not happy one bit (I think I went through 5 other blankets). Finally, I ordered this blanket thinking that it's the same material so maybe she would like it. She not only likes it but she loves it. I can see more of these in our future. One for school, one for grandma's, one for a back up. I have never been disappointed with Aden+Anais. I always give their blankets as baby shower gifts. The Dream Blanket is great bc it's getting cold here and this is more layers of the classic style. Also, it fits a toddler bed well. So warm and soft... and yes, I'll admit I've used it a few times as well to snuggle up while we play. So far I wash it about once a week and it washes really well. The only thing to remember and this is with all Aden+Anais items is never wash with anything that has velcro or it will stick the the fabric and tear it a little.

This is actually the second of these that I bought. With every Aden and Anais product I've bought I've looked at the price, wondered if it was worth it, bought it anyway, and then am so incredibly happy with it. I have followed that pattern with the swaddling blankets and bibs that I loved and now with this dream blanket that I adore. I needed a blanket for my older toddler who has outgrown even the XL sleep sacks. This has been a great blanket for him. It is very large and the perfect size for an older baby who is still in a crib. Like all Aden and Anais products it is also very soft and seems to get softer with washing. The first blanket I bought was the older style giraffe pattern. I was excited when I saw this elephant and star pattern when I came back to get a second for when the first is in the wash. The pattern is adorable both modern and whimsical so it both great for a child but also something that I like. Overall I am exceedingly happy with this blanket.

We have the monkey dream blanket and have been using it daily for 14 months. These are the most amazing blankets. They don't seem to wear out, no matter how often we wash. They don't bunch up like you would think they would. By that I mean, the inside bunching up sort of like a poorly made comforter. They also don't do something that I can't think of the word for. You know how when you wear nylons and you have a sharp fingernail and it sort of catches on the nylon and snags it? Snag!!! That's the word, they don't snag. They don't do anything except be the best, cuddly, breathable, safe, blanket ever for your little baby. This liam pattern that we just bought is a backup for in case anything ever happens to the monkey blanket. But I have hoarding issues. Under normal circumstances you shouldn't even need to buy a backup because one is enough for most people.

We have used A&A swaddle blankets since my son was born, and now he uses them as security blankets and takes them everywhere. I bought him this larger blanket as a spring/summer/fall alternative to his quilt for sleeping. It's soft, washes nice, and is cute! I want to get the adult version for myself! I washed it in hot water and did not notice any shrinkage. Perfect size for his crib.These are pricey and I did not want to pay 50 dollars, so I waited for this to go down to around 40 before I purchased. I think it is worth it for the 40 dollars.

Best blanket for winter. I love that it's light weight, yet still thick & fluffy. I use it to line the bottom of the pack n play on trips, & wrap her up in the winter. However, I do wish for travel they made a smaller size. It's really big. Given that I live in NYC & have to carry my stuff everywhere instead of be in a car, I want a smaller version of this for outside the home as it doesn't pack thin & takes up space in a bag. Other than that- LOVE IT. I will probably use it in the summer as a blanket for baby in the grass. Check out their muslin blankets too- I use them for nursing covers as well instead of having a separate nursing covers. those little straps on other nursing covers are overrated. Don't carry extra- use it as a two in one.

I love this brand - it's totally worth the cost. The muslin is warm yet let's air flow through. A great keepsake for any baby!

Die Decke habe ich für die richtig warmen Sommernächte besorgt - als Alternative zum Daunenbett bei unserem 3-Jährigen (nachdem die Schlafsäcke nun wirklich nicht mehr passen). Ihm gefallen die Äffchen, mir die tolle Qualität! Volltreffer!

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to for this. I wasn't sure about this blanket mainly because of the cost. It took me ages to actually go ahead and buy it......however I am very happy I did. Its just gorgeous. My wee man loves it and so do I. Everyone who has seen it has also commented how beautiful it is. Its very soft and cuddly plus the monkey design is fab! I would highly recommend it as one of the best blankets for babies. You won't be disappointed.......I can see I will end up having to buy another!
