Overall, I was very pleased with the connectors. There were a couple where the "caps" were hard to get started on the posts - switching to caps from another connector helped - but the issue was difficult to resolve.

Easy to install and does the job.

Like the secure weatherproof connection. However, when connecting smaller wires, ones inserted, I have had some issues with them pulling out. Some attention is required to get them firmly inserted and keep them in place while tightening the caps.

these are the best connectors. I’ve found so far for connecting low-voltage outdoor lights. Regular or. LED super simple to use. Just have a small pair of pliers in your hand as the nuts are kind of small and it’ll hurt your fingers after a while. But with a little pair of pliers, you can crimp them down tight and I don’t think I’ve ever had one go bad sometimes those wires outside get hard and brittle and they break inside, but the connectors are still fine. I replaced all my outdoor lighting front and back with these connectors thank you for the design

The design is a good one, but materials used in manufacture might require a bit of help from the installer. I used 16ga landscape lighting wire, which has a fairly robust insulation. The threads are not strong enough to reliably crank down and achieve penetration with the spike. I used needle-nose pliers to push the wire onto the spike and then the threaded cap to hold it down. These items are waterproof as long as you don't let them get wet.

They finally came up with a super connector that works and is easy to use!!!!
