They work great. If installing on existing boat. I would suggest buying split clamps so you don't have to remove canopy.

Got these support poles for my brother-in-law and he can't stop raving about them. Makes it so much easier to store the boat top out of the way without having to move it to lift the motor, and it prevents people from tripping on it because it's in the way. Great quality, and he said the installation was easy. Couldn't find any at a local marine store, but I can always count on Amazon to have what I'm looking for!

This product should be used with careful planning. It comes with clamped nylon eyelets, and nylon 90 degree mounts, and the poles are aluminum. I mounted these on my crownline 225 to hold up the Bimini while still in the sock. First time out, one of the nylon eyes broke in two. I replaced the nylon eyes with stainless steel eyes and the mounts with stainless as well. The thumb screws that hold the adjustable poles where you want them to be, scratch and mar the aluminum finish on the pole. So if you looking for something to slide up and down, you will easily see where you screw it down on the poles. Not very appealing to someone wanting a nice finished look to the boat. IMO, not worth the money, but cheaper than others.

Tried to make this work but just couldn't. Poorly made I tried running a self tapper just to make the cheap plastic part hold and it broke. Fittings aren't crimped right wouldn't trust on the water as I was trying to use for a rear brace. Save the money I found a length of rod for like 20 bucks and bought the ends off Amazon to do what I needed. Was more expensive at the marina but still same plastic garbage. Was really hoping for a better outcome

Since I use my boat for fishing inland lakes space is always at a premium. With these I can leave the top closed and suspended when not in use and be able to walk under it, great if you have a 4 legged fishing partner also. (When these poles are attached be advised that you will not be able to set your top all the way down without disconnecting one end or by pulling the poles apart at the connector) They are well worth buying and you have the option to secure your top at a variety of heights.

Worked as expected

Plastic ends do not hold on to the thin metal shaft. Popped right out on the first install. So I tried to pre-drill a hole through the assembly to put a screw in, to hold it together. The plastic cracked and now it's in worse shape than the one I was replacing to begin with. Junk.

these where a good addition to my bimini top,they eliminated the need for the back straps on the top and am able to leave my top in a semi up position as I didn't have a spot to lay the top in a down position.the poles are sturdy just wish they came with metal hardware, not that I have had any problems, the nylon hardware seams sufficient just believe the sun will have an effect on the nylon after maybe a few years,and will probable have to replace the nylon hardware with metal then.the nylon hardware is the only reason for a 4 star and not a 5
