The clasp is a button and cord (that does not stretch)
The color of this is beautiful, the microfiber is absorbant...but I only gave it a 3 because the clasp is so hard to close! A big button and a non stretch cord is used to hold the twist in place. It just doesn't work. Especially if you're stepping out of the shower, and your hands are wet, the cord is nearly impossible to get around the button. Its a shame too, because all it needs is a little piece of elastic (like the turbie twist).

The description was a little misleading as I thought it was a flat towel, only to find out that it was a turban style towel, which I have several and didn't need another. I got this for my daughter, but she didn't like the style so I returned the item!
