Strapcrafts 1-Inch Wide by 3-Yard Colored Elastic Band,Red 72150

I use wide elastic to make safety pin bracelets, but when I stitched this elastic together, the edges along the seam I've made start to separate from the rest of the band. It's hard to explain, but the elastic loses its integrity and becomes limp, which pulls my bracelets out of shape. The color is very nice, but the elastic just isn't strong enough to hold the weight of the beads I put on it. Too bad, because I really wanted this color to work.
