We suggest washing the weighted blanket on a cold cycle with a mild detergent. For best results allow to air dry. ‘Top tip’…wash in an old duvet cover.

It’s quiet. You’d have to rigorously shake it (which is hard to do) to get noise from it.

Thanks for your question, without the outer cover is best as the actual weighted blanket is cotton, so cool to touch and better to use in the summer months.
