Hey everyone, Mike Jones here again with another quick and concise Amazon review. So up today we have the Live and Sleep Resort Ultra 12-Inch Queen Size. This item is hands down the best bang for the buck foam mattress you can find on Amazon. I rarely give any item 5 stars but 6 months after owning this item it still is a 5 star product. I was looking for a new bed and I knew I wanted a foam mattress, no box springs, and I wanted about a medium comfort setting. I went and posted up on a bunch of Tempur-pedic beds and I decided the medium setting is the one for me. And while the TP beds are awesome, the one that I wanted was $6,000 dollars. So, after about a solid month of searching, I decided to roll the dice and purchase this bed. And as I said, 6 months later and I am still loving it. It showed up, all 60lbs and all, and after I cut it open I put it in place in my bed frame and washed the top layer comforter in some light bleach. There was virtually no smell (which I read was a big concern for people) but I did let it air out in an open windowed room for at least 12 hours before I slept on it. It took about 24 hours for it to fully inflate but once it did I put the top layer back on, some new sheets, and crashed on it. Now, here is the funny part. I read from other reviewers that it took a few nights to get used to it and that their body hurt for a few nights and for me... this was absolutely true. I had incredible back pain for the first 3 days after I slept on this thing and all I could think about was what a f***** waste of money this was. Then, on the 4th night, I slept like a log and woke up feeling completely refreshed. Since then, no back pain at all and I get great sleeps. No joke, for the first 2 months after I bought this, every night when I was about to go to sleep I genuinely got excited about getting in bed. My girlfriend loves this bed as well! I rotate the mattress once a month and it has never deformed or broken down. The bed is a perfect blend of support and softness and it hasn't faded or become lumpy at all. I put this in an Ikea bed frame and I paid extra for the upgrade lattice support. You want to put this mattress on a firm support (like the ground) and if you have slats that are too spaced out the bed will sink into it. Make sure you get a solid base to put this mattress on, trust me it's worth it! The ONLY downside to this bed is that the corners are rounded. It's not a big deal, but it just means that it doesn't fit snug in my rectangular ass bed frame. The pros: Amazing comfort, incredible price, no odor, and it was delivered in a box to my front door! What more can you ask for?!?!? The cons: The mattress has rounded corners which does not fit flush in my rectangular bed frame. The overall: This mattress is perfect (for me) and I love the combination of plushness and support. If it lasts even 3 years then it's totally worth the money because for $500 you can just go buy a new one. I WOULD DEFINITELY buy this product again! I hope you enjoyed this quick review. We are full time in our motorhome. This RV short queen mattress is amazing. It is well made and you can tell when you open it up. We did not sleep on it for 24 hours so it fully expanded. Stayed at a friends house for one night. The comfort is something that goes beyond expectation. Not to soft and not to hard. Medium firmness as stated. The price is a great deal. This review is for the Live and Sleep Resort Ultra Full Size Size 12-inch Gel Memory Foam Mattresses Squeezing and cramming a rolled up mattress into a box sounds like preparation for a camping trip or for a experiencing a nightmare. The box arrived and the plastic wrapped contents were removed and were manipulated onto the box springs. The plastic was carefully slit and the compressed mattress began to expel itself. After extracting all of the plastic, the mattress was allowed to do its own thing for 24 hours. The full proper size was reached uniformly across the entire mattress, progressing steadily. Within 4 hours, the mattress was approaching the 12 inch height. While the surface is soft to the touch, the mattress gives a solid stable feel, nothing squishing or engulfing. The recovery of the top level of memory foam from an imprint is impressive. The edges have good recovery and show no sagging afterwards. Having recently obtained the my (currently highly advertised) pillow and four other advertised pillows in the search for relief for a bulging neck disc, I can write with some authority, the pillow included with the mattress is far above others in memory foam and lightyear beyond the reach of my (currently highly advertised) pillow. However, only one pillow was included, which I found strange. When the company responds regarding the second pillow, I will update the review. The appearance is pleasing. The workmanship seems solid—no open seams, dangling threads, uneven content. The purpose of the mattress is to provide a supporting environment for sleep. The comfort level is certainly satisfactory. I have less disruptive movements and more body comfort. With both rotator cuffs torn, a bulging neck disk, arthritis throughout the body, sleep apnea, and seven decades of accumulated wear and tear, a restful night’s sleep has been a challenge. These weeks, thus far, with the Live and Sleep Resort Ultra Full Size 12-inch Gel Memory Foam have been a dramatic improvement over the previous mattress. This would be a *5 Star* bed if the measurements were correct. I know its early in the year but we aren't sleeping hot and it is comfortable and conforms to me which takes away the majority of my back pain from a herniated disc. I love plush supportive beds which this feels a tad too firm until you lay on it for a minute and then it cradles you, not too hard, not too soft. As others have mentioned, this bed does sink in the corners when you try to get off so expect to go quickly, eventually we will add something to help with this. Which brings me to my ONLY complaint... the measurements are off. Bed measures 10" high not 12" - but it's high enough for us. The issue is with the length and with measurements. This is for our RV so we ordered the short queen but it fits so tight the doors at the foot of the bed cant close so they stay open and it hits the side closets and prohibits the hamper from opening if I don't jam it into the other wardrobe. The bed measures 64"x77" not 60" x 74". Inconvenienced by the size but love the quality of the bed. Which reminds me, changing the sheets is a hassle do because the size is off and it hits something at every edge. So measure carefully. I did a ton of research and this bed comfort level is perfect, just the wrong size :(
