WEAR GLOVES
rock hard smooth finish, use a good quality brush, you must wear gloves, this stuff won't come off. If you get it on you, I found brake parts spray works, but you really don't want it on the skin. This is a must have for jeep frames and inner fenders. Way better than por. It's worth every penny.

Great product
Used on 1948 Ford frame. Super tough coating, durable and long lasting. Just don’t get it on your skin as it does not come off. This stuff sticks to anything.

Phenominal
This is the 3rd can of chassis saver ive used and what can i say it is the best undercoat i have found Much better than POR-15 (Tried POR-15 first didnt like it). I live in the Northeast where they spread salt on the roads used this on the frame of a 2005 truck that I just sold in 2021 and the frame was still immaculate. Now have a 2019 vehicle and I will use it on that. If you need undercoat protection from road salt this is the product to use.

It's just great paint
Chassis Saver is a great, well-priced paint. I've used it in the past and am now painting my '66 Mustang with it. It does on thick and creamy and covers well. It's very durable and looks great.

First rate, but be careful on gloss level.
I withheld one star because to my eye the finish is closer to gloss than satin -- I'll have to put a finish coat of something else over this to get the appearance I want. Otherwise, very good coverage and easy to apply -- one quart covered my sandblasted short bed truck frame. Haven't been on the road yet, but my impression is that the coating should stand up to most undercarriage environments.Undecided on using the second quart that I purchased for the axles, suspension and engine compartment -- want a softer (but not flat) matte type finish. I MAY use the chassis saver for its utility and apply a different top coat as on the frame. Extra paint and work is a bummer.

Great product
The media could not be loaded. Bought this because I didn’t like por15 like I had used on other projects. It works great. Here is a video of it after I was done but not completely dried. Took about 24 hours to fully dry and it still looks the same just not as shines. truck is a 2004 and had a lot of surface rust. Degreased frame and pressure washed before painting. Used the s8 reducer and sprayed with a $15 harbor freight hvlp gun. Used almost half a gallon with 1 light coat and 3 heavy coats. Double cab short bed frame.

Great paint
I'm pretty much repeating what others have said, but want to mention the gloss level. Attached you can see a picture from a Jeep skid plate which has come out satin, however, that was after 2 sprayed from a basic HVLP gun with 10% reducer. You can see the finish is satin. However, when I brushed it on, it came out a lot glossier. Something to bear in mind when you're using it. The spray finish gloss level is about the same as aerosol POR15.Otherwise it's been great. It sticks extremely well (in my case to sandblasted steel) hardens up overnight to a level greater than POR. I recommend the stuff, but definitely keep it off your skin or you'll be scrubbing

I used a finnish gas mask with this on a blazer
I was going to spray this but as with the corroseal, the wind was blowing and you don't want to breath this or corroseal in or get it in the eyes. Hope this gets a couple more years out of the frame. Should drop the gas tank and paint the whole floor pan with this too. Corroseal cleaned it up and this made the floor look new underside. Probably spray woolmax or rp23 or the military cosmoline woolmax paint in the tight spots on top frame rails. Almost want to spray this through a wound stray through the whole frame too. Fumes are high, I'd do it outside on ramps or one side on ramps not in a sealed garage. I think corroseal, this, and woolmax on top should fight the snow treatment, gotta pressure wash after plowing each time, it is destroying vehicles. I'd be mad if I had a $30k truck and it ate it. So I recommend this for used or new vehicle treatment. Hopefully it last another 5 years.
