A nice little set to have on hand for various LC circuit construction, whether that be filters, oscillators, etc. These are nice quality pieces at a price I couldn't pass up. I like the variety of components, and they come in a nice container so I don't have to sort them!

Got these for the variety to use in whatever project/experiment may require a particular value. Good price, good selection.

The inductor coils in this set have two wire leads that come out of the bottom of each device. So they mount vertically. This is great for the projects I work on. The packaging is nice. 8 parts for each of the 20 values are packed in hinged snap top plastic box-sections. This is a great way to package these devices and is HIGHLY NECESSARY.... Usually a 1mH choke is marked 102k for first number in value - 1, then a zero, and 2 more zeroes; times 1uH to wind up 1000x that base value, or 1/1000 of a Henry (1mH). But these have NO MARKINGS on the individual parts. Accidentally dump them out and get them mixed up and you'd better have a way of measuring them to undo the mix up. Before these, I bought some 1mH similar form factor chokes. They were clearly marked 102k, as above indicated. I'm going to make darn sure I don't spill these!!! So one star comes off of the rating for this non-functional, but important deficiency. I just hope the right parts from the factory made it into the correct box sections for all 20 values. So far, so good. Next time I will probably buy axial leaded inductors that have color bands like old fashioned resistors did.

After testing one from every size, I can confirm that they are all within the original specifications. EEEEE has not let me down yet! They appear to be of good quality, without tearing one apart. As always, the case is super awesome to keep them separated and listing the values on the lid.
