The material is made of felt and I was a little surprised. It's held up and we have had this for my 6lb Maltese for about 2.5 weeks. My puppy loves it. I feed her kibble with and she's good at using her snout to look for the kibble. My sister's golden Irish also really liked it, but I would recommend a bigger version for dogs bigger than 30lbs. I don't think it's enough space and they are able to find the treats too quickly. It's good stimulation for the dogs and it's easy to wash. I threw mine in the washer on a gentle cycle and air dried out because I didn't fully trust the dryer. If you have a more gentle setting on your dryer, feel free to do so. Easy pick up, clean up, and a fun time for your dog or puppy. Highly recommend. P.s the carrots are a fun toy for my puppy. We play fetch with those lol

I wasn't sure my dogs would use these, but they love them. Even our very timid pup & the senior girl both get into it. These are great for some mental stimulation.

I have a cat who is like a puppy. Loves puzzle toys. This keeps him busy for longer than Level 2/3 dog puzzles and treat ball since I can change the hiding places for his treats. He may figure out how to just flip it over eventually though lolI washed it before using it (cold water, only light detergent, tumble dry low) and it's perfect, no lingering weird smell.Minus a star because I had to finish cutting the "grass" strips since they were stuck together. Wouldn't want him to get his arm or head stuck between them.

The media could not be loaded. Altho it was smaller than expected it keeps our 3 month old pup super interested. He shares the mat w his older chihuahua brother. Very cute

This is a one star product but I gave it three simply because as long as I am watching my dog for the first three minutes that she’s using it, it’s actually really fun for her. It’s poorly made and definitely not worth the price tag.

Have an old dog who isn't that interested in playing much anymore, but who is very bored laying around all the time. Knew she needed metal stimulation. Friend recommended getting a snuffle mat. My dog loves to sniff and will spent 5 minutes sniffing out the perfect spot for a 3 second wee-wee, so I don't know why I didn't realize before this was exactly what she needed to entertain her. She is also quite lazy (a Kong stuffed toy is usually more than she can handle and she gets bored 2 minutes into licking it), so I guess I thought this might be a bust, but I was wrong. Dog took to it immediately and LOVED scratching at it and sniffing to find the treats. So far a hit. Can't say yet how it will hold up or if it will be a pain to clean, but so far the dog is happy and that makes me happy. We've only done treats so far, going to try the dry kibble in it tomorrow. Nice size by the way for a large dog.

My 11 month old cavapoo really enjoys this mat. I can put his least favorite treat or kibble in the hiding places it doesn't deter his excitement. Very soft and plenty of places for him to search for treats. I have to hide the carrots or he will try to carry them around all day. I have even found him napping on the soft mat if I don't put it away shortly after he has found all of the treats. Depending on how many treats I add it is a good 15-20 activity for him.

I would put up a picture of how much our dogs love this mat ( but I don’t share pictures ) they know about 2pm I am going to go into the dining room and put training treats into the flowers and veggies. They get so excited .our newest rescue Miri knows now and it right in the fray to search .they are beginning to figure it out …so thinking of getting a different one and changing them !!!Great investment

This toy was super cute, but so poorly made. The fluffy bits of felt looked like it would not survive 5 minutes with my 1.8 kg dog. It’s almost tissue thin. Came with a little carrot toy and a fluff ball, but made of equally flimsy material. Sadly I’m returning this. I did not mind paying the price, but expected much sturdier quality.

My dog loves it
