Update and edit: I intentionally shrunk these sock in very hot water, and now they are perfect! Shrinking them made them thicker/ better cushioned and the fit is no longer too loose on my size 8 feet. They no longer feel like cheaper tube socks after shrinking. I believe these do have 35% wool content, because wool always shrinks when you "shock" it by going from cold to hot water. Really great value!Original review: I purchased these socks on Prime Day for just over $2 per pair, a great value. The patterns and colors are cute, and I like the cotton/wool fabric content. However they only come in size large and the fit is very loose on my size 8W feet. The construction is one step up from tube socks, but that is what they feel like. The cushioning from the loosely looped interior is minimal, which is OK, just don't expect much cushioning.. I am hoping they shrink when machine washed and dried which would give a better fit.

Beautiful sock pattern design/ colors and well presented packaging for a gift, but for my feet ( size 8.5- 9 medium ladies) I have a bit of trouble pulling the sock over my heals, both on and off. There is some stretch, but not a lot compared to some of my other socks. (5 stars if they had more stretch to them.) These socks come up past my ankles quite a bit, so no cold legs and stay up nicely. They wash great so far in cold water (in with the dark clothes) and a medium dryer setting. The wool is not even noticeable, as in nothing scratchy to the skin... and are soft but not overly warm either... a good thing.Colors in this pack are blues, browns and blacks that go well with jeans and colors I wear. I bought another pack to have on hand as I tend to wear through socks fast, even with wearing slippers in the house.

I hate socks! I also hate shoes and winter. I have super sensitive issues with my feet. Despite all of that I find that now that I am old I am more comfortable when my feet are warm. Grudgedly I ordered these socks. The price as great and the colors were beautiful. I was prepared to hate them. They fit like a dream. They are not scratchy or slog around on my feet. They keep me warm without over heating. After several washes they look the same as the day i bought them.

Pros: I loved the socks look, they are warm even though they seem thin and they stay up all day.Cons: socks are tight and were hard to pull over my heels. Finally got it done but when taking them off at night were equally hard to pull off my heels.I am a senior and my hands are weak and I can't struggle with them everyday so will give them away. If they were stretchier and maybe bigger around, they might work.

I prefer wool socks instead of slippers for wearing around the house. Even though I live in a hot climate, these socks are not overwhelmingly thick, but just the right thickness of wool to be cozy without being too much. And the price is comfortable, too.

These are comfortable to wear in warmer weather. Not too thick and the top is like hand knit socks in that they aren't too tight but still stay up. I wash them in the machine with other laundry and dry as well on a low heat. I knit socks so am fussy but very pleased with these.
