These are probably the best sticks if you're often playing for your church. 5A is realistically the heaviest you're going to need for worship, as you still need to easily apply softer impacts or have energy in more pattern-demanding songs. Since the weight of the sticks favor the butt end, utilize the rebound as much as possible instead of your own muscle movement, as you're able to still hit all ranges while applying minimal work. And no worries on durability, these sticks will last you a long time.

I've been playing drums for over 20 years and have used Vic Firth for most of that time. I decided to try ProMark mainly for the price. I didn't expect to prefer them. I was wrong. The first thing I noticed was the feel. These sticks have a slightly raw, less polished surface compared to Vic Firths. At first it caught me off guard, but that texture adds real grip. When I picked up a pair of Vic Firths recently for the first time since switching, they felt almost plasticky by comparison, and I noticed how much grime they had collected because of that smoother finish. The ProMark surface just wears better. The other adjustment was the tip. These have a thicker, more elongated tip than I was used to, which changes the tone, especially on the ride. It took some time to get my ear around that difference, but once I did I found I actually preferred it. The thicker tip also seems more durable, which makes sense given the design. The FireGrain pair included in the bundle is a nice bonus as well. Worth trying if you haven't played with that texture before. Between the grip, the durability, the value, and a free pair of FireGrains thrown in, these have earned a permanent spot in my kit. Already planning my next order.

Ich verwende diese Sticks bereits seit mehreren Jahren. Mir persönlich gefällt die Große 5A bei Sticks besonders gut, dies muss aber jeder für sich selbst herausfinden, indem man verschiedene Großen austestet. Ich kann aus meiner Sicht jedoch diese Sticks empfehlen, da sie sehr fest sind und dabei nicht zu dick sind, um gut zu spielen. Daher auch bei vielen Einsteigern wie Profis gern genutzt. Besonders bei diesen Sticks mag ich die gute Verarbeitung des Sticks, bei welchem keine Holzsplitter oder andere Unebenheiten vorzufinden sind. Zudem finde ich den Kopf der Sticks gut und habe sie über die Jahre echt zu schätzen gelernt. Einziges Manko ist immer noch der Preis, dabei sind diese Sticks zwar relativ teuer, aber aufgrund der Qualität zu rechtfertigen.
