I had a few problems initially on set up, because I'm elderly and not technically gifted and things that are obvious to some people didn't include this old lady. However, after excellent Support from their lovely friendly team (I must have driven them mad, but they were unfailingly helpful) I've now sorted out the problems that I had. The actual set up is really easy and the quality of the picture is excellent....you'll have to take my word because I don't know how to attach photos. 🙄My main concern was that I didn't want to get stuck with a subscription....I wasn't looking for bells and whistles....I just wanted to monitor my catflap to try and stop my little darlings bringing home livestock for mummy. So this is perfect for my basic needs. You can sign up for extras if you so choose.I've had to adjust the notifications because it was rather enthusiastic, but I've set to hourly which suits me. I'm up all night so can keep it on visual all the time and it's in an unlit hallway and the picture quality is just as good in night mode as when I set it up during the day....it really is that clear.I'm very happy to recommend the Petcube and as I've said, Support is there 24/7 with a quick email. Whatever your needs, basic like mine, or the other options, you really can't go wrong with this neat little Cube.

I took a chance buying this because it looked like it was geared towards cats, dogs, bunnies, etc and I have 2 lizards. I bought one and set it up inside one lizard's vivarium, and loved it so much I bought another for my other lizard. It's so easy to set up - I have plenty of 'smart home' devices and they usually take forever to get started, but I installed this and got it online in 2 minutes. The picture is super clear, day or night. For those with vivariums, I recommend setting it up on the ceiling of the further end of the viv, as the wide angle is really impressive but you're always going to have a small blind spot, so I made sure the blind spot on my camera would be behind my lizards basking lamp, if that makes sense. There's a cool feature where you get to share your camera with family - I set my boyfriend up with an account so he could see our pets while he was at work. There's also motion detection and 2 way conversation, so I can hear them and they can hear me. I work from home 50% of my week so the camera is great for allowing me to keep an eye on my pets, and make sure they're eating if no one is home. It also came in handy when we had an overnight stay during the holidays, as I could keep an eye on their timed lights without asking a family member to come over and watch them. I took the free pet trial for both cameras and I think I might buy the full subscription.

The media could not be loaded. This is a nice little camera. Goes well in my snakes vivarium. There's a round sticker that you stick to the place you want your Petcube and then you connect the Petcube onto the sticker via a magnet. It's very simple to fit. No brackets or screws, just a strong sticker with a magnet which you place the camera on.The app isn't too difficult either to set up although it took a while to scan the code. Once it's set up, it's great.The picture on the camera isn't brilliant, but it's clear enough to see part of the vivarium and the snake. However, it doesn't always detect the snakes movement but notifies me about a motion that isn't there which I don't understand. Sometimes it will detect my snake but not every time. I do keep getting notifications of 'motion detected' but there is literally nothing there. I have to delete so many clips.The good thing is, you can put this camera in sleep mode so that when you're at home and in the room, there's no need to be notified of movement as you're already there. I wake my Petcube when I'm going to bed or when I'm going out then put it to sleep when I'm in the room with my snake.There's good features like zoom in and out. You can talk to your animal while you're out which of course is useless for a snake but good for cats and dogs. It also has night vision so doesn't matter if your room is in complete darkness, you will still see quite clearly your animal on camera.Overall, I am impressed and happy to have the Petcube in my snakes vivarium. I like to see what he gets up to while I'm sleeping or out. Petcube is a decent camera and I don't regret buying it. Not the clearest of cameras but then again, the light setting such as the heat and UVB bulb in the vivarium most likely doesn't help but it's clear enough for me and I'm still happy with it. This petcam is very good for vivariums because you can stick it on the roof or the wall of the viv. It's also a nice looking camera. I'd definitely recommend for vivarium settings for snakes and reptiles.

Mine only works on wifi so limited coverage if you are out and no wifi is available. Also terrible customer service. Good comms at first contact but I kept getting emails to say that I hadn’t replied, which I had, to their emails. But picture and sound quality very good even at night and easy to set up.

Amazing camera at a very reasonable cost. The overall quality of the product is good, including the packaging and the charger (dual standard EU&UK). Two features I especially love are the night vision and the magnetic base, which makes it super easy to fix the camera where you want. There is also a sticky tape piece included should you wish to affix it to a non-metal surface. The camera quality is very good and the sound is good too. One downside I noticed is when your mobile connection is unstable, the video and the sound quality will be shaky too, but this is totally understandable. The initial setup was well-designed and easy. One undocumented feature of this camera is that you can also talk to your wife when she is not picking up her phone.

J’ai acheté cette caméra pour mon beagle qui a tendance à être angoissé lorsqu’il est seul et je voulais avoir l’esprit tranquille en partant.La qualité de l’image est très bonne, l’installation très facile, l’application est bien également. Le côté aimanté est très pratique. Personnellement je débranche la caméra lorsque je suis à la maison.Le seul point négatif ne concerne pas le produit en lui même mais l’abonnement qu’il faut prendre pour recevoir les alertes aboiements, et mouvements, ce n’était pas spécifié dans le descriptif. J’ai pris le moins cher (5,99/mois) mais attention il y a des frais bancaires à rajouter (0,67).

Funktioniert gut. Die Bildqualität könnte etwas besser sein, andererseits kann sie gut zwischen tierischer und menschlicher Bewegung unterscheiden; das Recording in der App zeigt ein kleines Symbol, wodurch die Aufnahme ausgelöst wurde - Tier oder Mensch. Der Radius auf dem Bild ist für diese kleine Kamera auch sehr gut. Wer eine Kamera sucht, um zwischendurch nach den Tieren zu sehen, wird mit ihr zufrieden sein.

Acquistata per un regalo, la persona che l'ha ricevuta a distanza di mesi è pienamente soddisfatta e contenta del regalo ricevuto che gli permette sia di vedere il suo amico a 4 zampe quando è fuori casa, sia di "comunicarci", grazie al microfono integrato in essa!

Echt een geweldige camera, mijn hond blaft als hij alleen thuis is, maar met de audio functie kan je tegen hem praten, waardoor ik hem gerust kan stellen en beveel dat hij miet gaan liggen. Enige probleem is dat het me nooit lukt om tegen hem te spreken als ik op straat ben, zelfs niet met 5g. Dus enkel bij wifi.

J'ai acheté la première caméra de la même marque avec le laser, pas tant pour la caméra en soi mais parce que le type de laser était le seul sur le marché avec les qualités que je cherchais.Après avoir vu l'excellente qualité de la caméra, ainsi que la commodité de l'appli et de l'installation, j'ai décidé d'en acheter deux autres dès que je les ai trouvées en solde pour surveiller d'autres zones de la maison.La qualité des images est excellente, même pendant la nuit, la rapidité d'installation stupéfiante et en plus l'aimant intégré permet d'ancrer les caméras avec une extrême facilité. De plus, elles sont très petites et blanches, elles ne détonnent pas même sur une bibliothèque ou sur un meuble. Je conseille ces caméras à quiconque a envie de contrôler comment vont ses amis à quatre pattes quand on n'est pas à la maison.
