I almost purchase a buffer but opted to try out these pads and I don't regret it. I just wish I didn't suck at patching scratches. It takes more than you think.

I used the wool pad to remove the heavy oxidation on my 20' boat. It held up great and did a great job with the compound I used. Boat looks night and day.
