Kitchen Aid - Pro 5 Plus 5 Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer (Silver)

This is my first kitchen aid where the bowl raises and lowers and is elevated from the base of the machine. It can be a pain to seat the bowl properly and I am not sure the raising makes a real difference incorporating batter, etc, from the bottom of the bowl.

Have nut used it yet but was really hoping that the bowls of my 30+ year-old KitchenAid would fit a new one -- but alas, this bowl is much wider and squattier.
