Simple replacement and easy to operate.
The water is a bit stiff for testing on the water but everything works perfectly on the trailer. I have a Minn Kota quick release that I moved to this unit and everything else fit like a glove. Now for the ice to go out....

Auto deploy and stow. Spot lock.
The best trolling motor have ever owned. Spot lock is rock solid. The trim feature was another selling point. If you’re going to put Garmin live scope on it you will have to buy a special mount from Cornfield Crappie. It cost $363.25. It looks more professional than the bike cable method. Ulterra 60” shaft 80 lb thrust.

Dont recommend
Worked great for 4 fishing trips. On the 5th trip it would not deploy. There is absolutely nothing you can do once this happens. You are screwed. Had to take it to a shop that does warranty work which is an hour away from my house. Still have no got it back yet. That much money for a trolling motor you wouldnt think it would break on the 5th time using. Lost my entry fee for the tournament as well as time and money spent. If you buy this I recommend keeping another 24 volt trolling motor in the bed of your truck so you can change it out when it stops working. Not happy with this product at all and dont recommend it. It was really nice to operate when it was working correctly. The place I had to take it to get it worked on said this was by far not the first one that would not deploy. So if you buy it. go ahead and keep your old one or buy another cheaper one to keep as a backup.

Makes life on the water better
I often launch my boat by myself, and the auto-deploy feature helps a lot. (It's a 17' fiberglass bass boat.) For a boat this size, it does well on flat water, but if you plan on being in water with a current, I would recommend the 36v. It pulls my boat on 10 at about 2.8 mph on calm lakes. With fully charged batteries, it is difficult to load due to the auto-stow.
