Gift-Wrap Cutter Cuts Wrapping Paper Quick and Easy

When this arrived I was stunned to find it too short ...Revision, January 2014:The seller responded promptly to my concern, which I appreciate. They said it was too difficult to engineer it longer, of which I'm not so sure, but the most important thing is...The prevalence of 30 inch giftwrapping paper is higher than I said. Even half of my own stash will work with this paper cutter. The next most common length is 40 inches, not 36 inches. Restricted to 30 inch when shopping is no big deal.I highly recommend this product. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it is a little flimsy requiring the cutter to often be fiddled with to run smoothly.If you want something that cuts longer paper, wait until just before Christmas next year when the seller says it will introduce such a model.

While I love this idea, the execution isn't on point.The part that the blade runs across is flimsy and bends when you use it. This makes the blade slip out of the groove it's supposed to run through. It makes the paper not cut entirely through in these areas and appear uneven, in which case I'd rather just use scissors.Ended up having to return this.

must have for those of you who like to gift wrap. I’ve used it quite a bit not just for the holidays. It’s easy to use easy to store.

I would recommend this to anyone who has a large amount of Christmas presents to wrap. It took a lot less time to finish the wrapping, the paper was cut with a straight edge without tearing, and any left over pieces were cut uniformly and could be used for smaller gifts. Previous years my grown daughter and I would spend some nights together on my bed to watch TV and wrap, but one year she wasn't quite paying attention to the wrap and cut my sheets instead. Save your sheets buy one of these! The only con is the size of the cutter, I bought the 33" and some of the larger, longer wrapping papers don't fit on the smaller size.

Not as easy as you think. For me, at the end, i just started cutting wrapping papers with scissors again. The idea of this product is good though, but it needs to be adjusted and i'm sure they will come up with better ones, and better material as well.

I ordered this product because I love cutter boxes, but the paper that comes in them can be so expensive! i wanted one that fits the rolls of paper Hobby Lobby sells at Christmas, and this one worked perfectly! And it will be easy to switch out the paper and use it for any rolls I might buy. It does take up a bit more space than a cutter box, but the savings in not having to buy cutter boxes but still having the convenience of a cutter will be worth it, I think!
