i too expected the book to be bigger (physical size) but I was glad it was pocket size.it has about 20 projects, many of them jewelry sets, but also non wearable items.it has every day designs and glamorous ones for special occasions. it also has variations on most of the items, eg: the main instruction is on black and white for a wintry look, but also gives color combinations - with colored pictures!! - for all other seasons.the instructions may not guide to exquisite, high-end finishes, but they are definitely good enough to gift and even sell: they do not scratch, they do not look clumsy, they do not unravel easily. I choose to see them as light enough for even a beginner to attain.the best part is that she gives reasons for why she works the way she does, she mentions instances where she tried other ways and what didn't work, and she encourages everyone to try their ideas.all the designs are special, creative and inspiring. I found the instructions phrasing both easy and informative enough, but then again I'm crocheting for over 35 years now.I've already made 4 of her projects, though none in the exact shape or colors she suggested. It even give me starting points for 2 other projects of my own.I consider this the only wire crocheting book I need... (but I will probably buy more ;-)

Great ideas for beautiful jewelry. Some of the instructions could be improved upon, however. I bought the book after reading a library copy so I knew what I was getting and purchased it anyway.

Like the other reviewers I was just starting to crochet with wire. I bought a few books and this by far is my favorite. Lots of information on supplies as well as projects. I highly recommend this little book!

This book is fun. Lots of fun ideas. When you tell people you crocheted with wire they look at you like you are from Pluto. Lots of fun and beautiful jewelry.

Good beginners book. Would like some more advanced projects, but a good starter.

This was interesting. A little more difficult than crocheting with yarn but it had nice results. It was fun. Everyone got homemade bracelets for Christmas !!!

I've read most of the book but because this is such a busy time of year I have not had a chance to work any of the projects. I am looking forward to trying many of them when I get a chance. The jewelry looks like fun to make and pretty to wear.

This is the first book on wire crochet that I have bought. The designs are attractive and the instructions seem to be easy to understand.

A great book for beginners. Good information on what's needed to start you off, wires, pliers etc. Links in the back for suppliers of materials.
