Wished I had ordered two sets!!!!!
Love them! Mine came packaged with cardboard disk between each dish and all wrapped in bubble wrap then boxed! Not one broken.Cooked shrimp cargo in them from recipe I found on Pinterest! Just wished I had ordered 2 sets because they are out of stock now but I am waiting to see if they come back! My daughter loved them too!UPDATE!!!!!They cane back in stock and I ordered and received my second set with NO problems! Very happy with these! Will be keeping an eye out to see if they go on sale because my daughter would like a set and my sit down dinners are at least twelve people!!!!

SUPERB at a great price. Excellent dimensions on all fronts, beautiful white china. Well packaged for safe shipping.
Contrary to some previous (old) reviews, the packing was great and insured that items arrived safely. The dishes themselves are the best I've seen at a great price! Gleaming, pure white china, perfect size (6.5" instead of 5.5") deep outer edge lip stops any overflow (and to prevent spills when dipping crusted bread), each of the escargot "bowls" was perfectly deep to allow more than sufficient snail bathing in melted butter/etc.while heating in oven, and handy handles on two sides.

Received broken
I am returning one set of four of these escargot plates. Each one had chips with one broken into three pieces and one had broken into many chards of porcelain. I felt it to be prudent not to return those shards of porcelain with blood on them from cuts sustained while unwrapping them. The box that was used for these two packages of 6" x 6" x 6" was very large. That would explain how these were broken.

Why do we need to write headlines?
Two of these broke in transit but the company replaced them quickly. They are not very thick and heavy so treat them gently but the depressions are roomy and deeper than ones I've had in restaurants.

Works great for escargot.
Cleaned up easy. I used it under a broiler with cheese/escargot. Held all the butter and cheese just fine.
