10002264 Pilot Assembly NG/LPG Fireplace Replacement of HHT Majestic & VC NG/LPG Pilot Assembly for Fireplaces, Fryer with 750mV Thermopile

I bought this in 4/22 and used it through the middle of May. Then in October I went to fire up the pilot, it would not work. No big deal I just lite the pilot with a match. Two weeks later It quit working all together. So if you totaled that out it lasted about a month of operation. It was a good price with 4 stars. You can't always trust the ratings. I bought a new direct part from a gas stove dealer and you can see it is just made better. Hope this helps someone else from doing it twice.

I followed the instructions exactly and used You Tube videos to install the pilot assembly. Once done, the flame was so tiny it would not warm the thermopile enough to generate power to the switch and valve. There is really no way to adjust the pilot light on my valve. I called a service tech; he replaced it with another unit and it work fine; much larger pilot light. So, I'm out the original service call that told me to replace the pilot assembly, plus this assembly which did not work, then a second service call and the second assembly they installed; rough $500 all told.

Transaction, shipping, product and installation all was better than expected.Installed into my fireplace. Fit was perfect. Routing lines was easy.
