Cavalier Mini Assorted Fruit Slices - 5lb Box

My husband though these tasted okay. To me there wasn't any real distinction in flavor for each color, they were just sweet. But my husband felt he could detect a slight different flavor to each color. Overall service and delivery was good. Product however came in with half in proper state and the other (mostly on bottom of box) all smooched together. In the end I had to separate the two from each other, put good ones in an air tight container and give my husband the messed up pile to work on. Not sure why they came this way. I have to think that maybe their box was squished while in transit not to the point of damaging the box...but maybe to the point of weighing down and heating up its contents (thus the bottom of content squished together) but I really can't say for sure.

Purchased these some time back. They were delivered on time. But were not fresh. In my opinion they were last years leftover stock. Disappointed.

I got a good assortment of flavors but a lot more lemon than others. They come in a box with wax paper. I wish they were in a resealable bag or something to keep them fresh longer. Candy has good flavor. Shipping took way longer than they guaranteed.

When they state "assorted" what they really mean is you will not get some of the flavors they pictured in sale. For instance, the picture shows blueberry (my fav flavor) but when I received the candy, I received exactly ZERO blueberry. IN fact, after eating all the red and orange, the 5lb box is 4/5's still full with yellow, green and purple. If you like these three flavors then I recommend you get this. However, if you are expecting equal amounts of all flavors shown in the picture, stay away from this product because you will be disappointed. The candy itself is super yummy but now I am left with 4lbs of yellow, green and purple candy and NO blueberry. I could have gotten these three flavors anywhere and for a fraction of the cost and shipping. Nothing special!

Wow! You don't realize what 5 pounds of jelly fruit slices looks like until you open the box! Let me begin by saying that, as far as the candy is concerned, these arrived fresh and flavorful. I've bought fruit slices in the store before that were stale and dried-out, so I was very pleased by the quality of the food product itself. NOT pleased with other aspects of the purchase so I will likely be choosing a different seller next time.

This was a hit for the party! BUT there were way too many Lemon candies. It was at least 60% lemon and then 40%of the other 4 flavors.

Product was good but wish the selection was more evenly prepared. The quantity of the red slices was very insufficient compared to the other flavors.
