Silicone Ice Cube Trays Large for Whisky, Collins Ice Cube Mold Tray Also Used for Butter Mold, 2 Count

I have bought 5 different ice trays in the last few months to try and find something that works well in my Fifty/Fifty bottle. First square didn't even fit. Smaller half rounds melt right away and are difficult to remove from tray. I was almost at the end of my rope and happened upon these trays. I was a little nervous about the feedback saying you should fill them already in the freezer but I bought them anyway.They came faster than stated and didn't have a nasty smell out of the package. They just smelled like silicone. I washed them and set one in the freezer and filled it from a water bottle. I sat the next one on top of the first and filled it as well. They froze well with no mishaps so they are stackable. It is a little more difficult to remove because of the shape but very sturdy so I just grabbed the cube and pulled. It came right out.I can fit 3 in my water bottle but need to put them in one at a time.They last a very long time! (24 hours and longer) So nice not to have to add ice multiple times a day. One more chore I can say goodbye to!I highly recommend these for refillable bottles!

Flimsy material. Hard to carry with water. I had to place in the freezer first, then fill compartments with water.

Great for making cocktail ice. The case is too soft to carry when filled with water. I had to put it in the freezer flat and then pour the water. Very easy to remove.

Cheap and good size. I carry a massive water jug and I really like ice in my water. These "cubes" are larger than the normal tray ice I've been using. So they last longer and keep it cold for longer.The only real downside to them is once filled with water they bend so sometimes if I'm not careful water spills out. But beyond that they work great. They are also large but their form factor is small enough to fit into my water bottle jug opening with ease.

I boiled them for 15 minutes then hand washed with dish soap before making the first batch of Ice. There was floating debris in the glass of ice water using one of these cubes. I discarded this batch, washed them, and tried again. The second batch produced the same results. I then baked them in the oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees. After this, I made a third batch of ice which left zero residue in my glass of ice water.DO NOT buy these unless you are ready to bake these in your oven before their first use.Ice cubes in this shape melt very quickly in water anyways, so I'm sure there are better options out there than these. Would have given 4 stars if not for the hassle of baking them.

Small and floppy. Spills water on the way to the freezer, returned, way over priced!

I bought these specifically to make bigger ice cubes to use with a stainless steel drink bottle. They work beautifully. I don't have any white flecks as someone else said. I've used filtered (Brita) water and tap water. Perfect ice either way. There is no taste from the mold. Because the mold has to be flexible to get the ice out, it's a little tricky getting it from faucet to freezer without spills. I put it on a small cutting board, fill it, and carefully slide it into the freezer. This completely solved the problem. I'd buy these again.

We ordered these to get longer bigger ice cubes for tall drink cups and/or our big yeti type cups. They work very well. They are easy to use...just fill with water and the cubes just pop out easily cause it's easy to bend the silicone material and the ice cube doesn't break. Great quality material as well. It comes with two of them so you have a set. We really love them and will definitely be getting a lot of use out of these for the summer!Def recommend this company's products if you are looking for a good quality non expensive item.
