I really like this keyboard protector. It protects the keyboard from dust, crumbs, or other debris.It provides a nice, tacky surface to type on, as I find the keys can be a bit slippy otherwise.It does hide the background light behind the keyboard as some others comment, but I've never found this to be a problem for me. Would recommend.

If you are concerned about dust and debris getting behind your keyboards then this is the solution. It may need getting used to having this silicone on the keyboard but worth it. Not recommend to fold the laptop with it on as it can rub with screen overtime.The color is very cute!

True to colour and good quality, value for money, however you won’t be able to see the letters illuminate from your keyboard in the evening, so ensure that your surroundings are well lit for you to be able and do some work. Not recommended if the lights are off or dim, or you can just simply remove the keyboard cover and place back on after. It’s still a good way of making your keyboard look lovely and protects it from dust, or if you have sticky fingers from a snack, you won’t ever damage your keyboard at all if you have this one. I’ve had this for a year and it still looks good as new

I bought the ’airy blue’- it’s much Less lavender/cornflour blue and more grey/aqua (still nice though).It fits well, makes my new mac look individual, and protects the keys. The light from the keys don’t shine through the letter though as they aren’t see through, but this doesn’t bother me. You can still see light come through bits of the base of the keys though which is nice.(On the option key as I’ve placed the cover slightly ‘off centre’ the symbol is almost repeated from the light coming through)

So I brought this and thought i'd go for the black one. (I have a space grey Macbook Pro 14"). Whilst this fitted on the keyboard ok - I could not see the lights on the keyboard.Sensitivity wise - typing was fine and it sat well on the keyboard.I guess it depends on what's important to you. I think it will keep it clean, but I can't see the lights and I like that feature - especially when typing at night. I also feel the Macbook Pro 14" lights for the keyboard are not as bright as older models so that doesn't help. I am sending it back and considering opting for the clear one.I also expected the black one to have clear letters so that you could see the light through it. This is not the case. the letters have been printed on. I think if they weren't and were clear you may see more of the light on the keyboard.

Fitted well, good colour and recipient happy with it.

Great build quality but unable to see back light through this product rendering it completely pointless. Waste of £8

The media could not be loaded. Delivery great. Product substandard. Barely fits, is bent out of shape. Have tried flattening it, no luck. Average quality all over.
