Q: Can I use this on the bottom of my shoes. For slip resistant

Depends what surface type you have on bottom of your shoes. Spend the money on correct shoe for the work you are going to do.. ie, they have roofer, ice and water rated slip resistant shoes that are OSHA approved.

Q: Will these work on outdoor wooden stairs?

Hello. Yes, this would be the right application for this tape. If installing outdoors and/or in cold temperatures, we do recommend lightly warming the tape and application surface with a blow dryer to get the strongest bond with the adhesive. We also recommend cleaning the surface to ensure it's free from any loose dirt or oily/waxy residue. Let us know if you have any further questions.

Q: would these work on bottom of slick shoes?

They would probably stick on smooth bottom shoes but would ruin wood floors you walked on. I would be concerned about you leaving scratch marks on people’s floor. They have a very rough almost sand paper like finish

Q: Will these work on the prefabed plastic grooved "treads" on pick up truck step rails? They are grooved but slippery.

I would say yes. I have them along my trucks steel step rails. The adhesive is very strong and should stick to any clean surface.
