Freestanding Ventless Bio Ethanol Fireplace - Spectrum | Ignis

Disappointed. Since it was advertised as freestanding, I assumed it would be attractive front, back, and sides - it is not in my opinion. In the seller's photo, it looks like the burner box is contained in a complete black metal box. It is not: see my photos - you can see the burner from the back because the back panel does not extend to the floor - it is quite a few inches short. The "legs" are just the thin metal sides of the container. It's back should be placed against a wall because it's not pretty and looks not fully finIshed. While the seller states it should not be inserted in a wall, it looks like an insert. Haven't decided whether I am keeping it or not yet. Will see....It does give off some heat so there's that.

Our new townhouse had no fireplace - a feature I consider essential in the "home and hearth" equation. This freestanding, self-contained, ventless unit's clean lines and simple design were just the ticket. It can fit in with literally any decor. It does put out heat, so bear that in mind as you plan for its location. I also bought a small set of logs to enhance the ambiance.

Its very nice. I bought the log set also and it looks great. Puts out heat too.Very pleased!

Purchased for staging, love the look of it. I haven't actually used it yet so can only attest to its form not function.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of the IGNIS SPECTRUM ethanol fireplace. It's perfect for the living room in my mobile home. No vent/chimney needed.
