Prom Synthetic Gun Grease, 1/2-Ounce, Multi (070-1356)

I utilize this for an O/U shotgun. The syringe style tube makes it real easy for application. I haven't found any issues with it and it is also recommended by several firearm manufacturers.

This is a fine gun grease which stays put, has high lube properties under extreme pressure throughout wide temp variations yet is easily removed with the common gun solvents when cleaning firearms.However, I've stepped up from traditional synthetic grease technology for firearms to a nano technology grease. Archoil AR8300 nanoscience synthetic grease has even wider specs in every category.Both companies are recognized by the National Lubricating Grease Institute (means they paid their initial membership fee as well as the recurring annual fee) and both greases function perfectly well (when used sparingly only in the high pressure contact areas of firearms) in temps ranging far wider than anything a shooter would experience from the Arctic to the Sahara.Bottom line, you'll be satisfied with either brand; albeit, one has slightly newer technology. Yes, even lowly bearing grease benefits from technology advances.

Like every other M-Pro 7 product I've used, this grease works very well. I normally use the M-Pro 7 oil, but there are some applications where you might prefer this grease instead. Unlike a light oil, this grease tends not to creep so much, which might be a plus for some uses, such as fire control parts, where you want the lubricant to stay put. Being non-toxic and having no odor is nice as well.The old adage "if it rotates oil it, if it slides grease it" does have some merit, and this grease is a great choice for pistol slide rails and camming surfaces.The only thing I don't like about this grease is the applicator it comes in. The syringe type applicator is not easy to use because you have to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the grease out, and when it does finally come out it's very often way more than you wanted. Instead I simply emptied the grease into a small sealable container and apply it with a small brush or Q-tip.

works great. add just a little and it goes a long way and does not run out.

I can't say this is necessarily the "best" grease I have ever used, but is very good. It tends to stay put and provide good lubrication across a wide range of operating temperatures. I'll put it at the same level as slip EWG or weapon shield grease.

works great even made pull the charging handle on my ar-15 easier.

This has been an excelleng product to keep my AR in good working order.
