I used this seat during two weeks in Sicily and one week in Paris. It was comfortable and sturdy as a seat. If you purchase the item, take off the rubber feet and insert metal washers in the bottom to keep the metal tubing from cutting through the rubber feet. After two weeks, I had to purchase new feet for the device in Sicily at an orthopedic shop. The new feet came with washers in them. Except for this problem, the seat was wonderful in museums or while listening to a tour guide. My knees were much happier. The chair is not particularly well adapted to being a cane because it wants to unfold while you are walking along.

looks good. Instructions seem simple enough. I haven't used it yet.

Took it with me on vacation and only used it briefly, but was a sturdy seat to rest on. I'm glad I had it with me.

I purchased this for my trip to China. I'm so glad I did. Everyone in my group which they had one too..

This is wonderful. I can rest when I need to, and get through shopping without pain.
