Nice alarm clock, BUT TOO BRIGHT (added windiw red tint to mine to help), surprisingly loud speakers
Why is every alarm clock using bright white and blue displays now? Even on the LOWEST setting, it's blindingly bright with the lights off. If it was red or amber, you could have had it on the brightest setting and it wouldn't interfere with sleep. Manufacturers need to start taking notice to this. Laptops and tablets and phones almost universally have a color warmer setting for night, which mutes blues. These clocks should too.To compensate I put red window tint on it. I guess the light was a bit on the blue side so it ended up purple-is but now it doesn't keep me awake. So I stated harsh but I do like this clock. It's being used both for time and also as a speaker to boost my Amazon Echo Dot's volume. And boy does it ever. The speakers on this clock and shockingly good. It's not audiophile, of course, but it is clear, crisp, with a decent low end, and LOUD. I had to turn it half way down just so Alexa wasn't blowing out my ear drums. It was a nice change from the dot's internal speaker. It also does Bluetooth and has a radio. I haven't used either feature.I did notice the charge lasts a pretty good long time. I haven't run it down but in times I unplugged it, power didn't move much even after hours of being unplugged.I wish it did a couple more things though.- Mix all audio sources at once, so I can listen to BT music and still talk to Alexa which is plugged into the aux-in.- Had a more intuitive button layout. Volume down and up are split by the play button. Just feels odd.- Turning brightness up is only temporary. It goes back to low after some time. I guess because they know how freaking bright it is. But this would be better solved by using the clock (it is a clock afterall) and allowing you to set brightness level by time of day.- option to turn off blinking colon.- RED DISPLAY NOT WHITE- battery indicator is good to have, but it could have been a small high/med/low icon instead of a large percentage. Seems other information could have been there and been more useful since most people probably leave it plugged in.

Good option to upgrade your alarm clock
Very Nice Bluetooth speaker/clock radio. I purchased this to use primarily as a clock/radio/alarm on my nightstand, but the added wireless speaker feature is a nice addition. The device seems to be good quality and the speakers have good sound. I like the big clear display and it is nice that it has dimming capabilities. Setting the alarm is harder than it needs to be, but I was able to get it done following the instructions provided. My biggest issue is that based on the features, this is clearly designed to be primarily a clock radio (who needs the time and an alarm on a wireless speaker), and yet they only give you a USB charging cable and not a wall plug. So I had to use a wall charger from one of my other devices to be able to leave this plugged in full time (unless the outlet you use has a USB port already built in). They clearly list that you get a USB cable in the product description, but just for me personally this is fairly annoying that I need additional parts to plug it in which is why i gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Faulty dual alarm clock radio BT speaker with not enough buttons.
Update 1 week later:It stopped playing anything from the TF (micro SD) card. I checked the card in other devices and it's fine. Also, the interface is really frustrating.Like 7 button presses to activate or deactivate an alarm. some of which need to be short and some need to be long. I think I'd pay an extra $5 for enough buttons to do everything with one or two presses.Imagine a world where you want to listen to the FM radio, and there's a handy radio button. Then you want to switch over to the TF card, and there's a TF car button, it could be a mode switch with 4 stops: FM, TF, BT, AUX. There's already a power slide switch on the back. IT could be a knob. It just can't be one button with 10 presses.Returned it.Original review:This thing does a lot of jobs well.It looks great, the stereo speakers sound bigger than they look, and there's an easy brightness adjustment button for day or night. It can play (good sounding, without buzzing or rattling) music from Bluetooth, a 3.5mm stereo cable, FM radio, or a TF/microSD card.It can tell you the time in 12h or 24h format, and it has two different repeating alarms, with 5 different chimes, or FM radio or TF as source. Oh, and all that can be battery powered for at least a couple of days with the battery remaining clearly displayed in the mirrored front screen, next to the time. It's recharged or powered by micro USB, and the charge cable doubles as the FM antenna. The cons: 1.) with all the functionality, the interface is a little fiddly. It takes about 7 button presses to switch on or off one alarm.2.) The TF mode as source for the alarms appears not to work. When the alarm goes off, instead of playing music from the TF card, as we asked for, it plays a grating klaxon, the most unpleasant of the in-built alarm chimes.Thankfully, FM as source still works and the alarm volume ramps up from a gentle whisper to blaring loud, over about 30 seconds.

Overly complicated clock that doesn't even keep accurate time
This is a nice looking clock and the fact that you don't have to keep it plugged in is a plus, especially if there's a power outage. However, I noticed that the clock loses a few minutes over the course of a week and I constantly had to set the time to correct this. Turning on an alarm takes about 8 button presses, when other alarm clocks simply have an on/off switch for the alarm. I consider myself to be fairly tech savvy, but I couldn't figure out how to tune to a particular station, which is something that is typically incredibly simple with other clock radios. Try as I might, I also couldn't get the SD card alarm to work. I pre-loaded a micro SD with a song, set an alarm, and got silence. Overall this is a needlessly overly complicated alarm clock that doesn't even keep time accurately, so it fails at being a clock, too.

Cannot disable the auto dimming of the display.
There are three level of display brightness and off screen mode. After 10 minutes it dims down to the lowest brightness level, even when plugged in with a charger and there is no way to disable it. Horrible feature when we can't disable it. Wanted to use it as a simple clock but that won't do. There should also be a way to not show the 24h icon. Same with the charge percentage when the battery is mostly full. I think they can fix this on another revision. Happy that this amazon store has a really good refund policy though and tech support is nice.I've measured the screen numbers. Each numerical digit is about 1.9cm length (total of 10.1cm with colon )by 3.2cm height.

Very nice alarm clock with some useful and convenient features
The ever best gadget I have bought. Very beautiful outward appearance, easy to use. It's great to have features like radio, blue tooth connection, premium sound bar, all of which are pretty fantastic.I bought this for myself and left in the dining room to show the time and also listen to music or radio news when having dinner together. But later my son likes it so much and took this to his own room. I am afraid I need another one :)

Good as a clock mostly
Nice design but the operation is complicated. If the alarm starts off while it is working everything gets mixed up and you can't switch it off.Switching between channels is difficult.Switching between functions takes longer push.Bluetooth connection is seamless.Sound is good.

This is a piece of garbage!
Only the clock work, none of the other functions work.

This is almost a great product.
This is almost a great product. I was really excited for it, but in the end I can't use it at all. Swing and a miss. That said, if you're a heavy sleeper and need the morning weather report yelled at you in order to get up the morning, this my be the perfect radio for you.PROS:1. Internal battery with 10 hour charge--ensures portability as well as remaining fully functional in a blackout. Sleep easily knowing your alarm will go off in the morning. Battery level is displayed on the front of the device in a percentage. A little too prominently for my taste, but glad it's there.2. Decent looking--look at the customer photos on here, you get a good idea of how it looks. The front glass (plastic?) is kind of ugly but you don't really notice it, and the metal bits on the side are unfortunate, but the simplicity of the rest of it is just enough to make it half-way decent looking. They should have just gone simpler, but no other company can seem to do it better, so this is pretty good.3. Great audio quality for a fairly inexpensive portable speaker.4. Great reception for a radio with no external antenna.CONS:1. Can't set radio alarm volume--comes on low then rises to max volume within a few seconds, which is quite loud at 6:30 in the morning.2. Terrible controls--not intuitive at all. I'd say you need to keep the instructions on hand to even change the radio station but...3. Atrocious instructions--not just confusing, they're wrong.I like to wake up the the radio but I'm a little paranoid about the reliability of a plug-in alarm clock, even with a dinky backup battery. I've been looking for an alarm clock radio that has a rechargeable internal battery that maintains a charge so that even if there's no power to the clock from the wall, it will still operate normally in the morning. This alarm clock radio is the only one that I've found that has the ability to operate fully while not connected to an external power source. I was really excited for it, actuallyAs other people have pointed out, the instructions that come with the device are terrible--worse than I expected. They're not just unclear, some of the instructions are actually incorrect. In the end, though, I was able to get through it and set it up for my needs. The front surface is grey and mirror-like, which I actually find quite unattractive when looking at it straight on, but when it's on my side table, it mostly just looks like a shiny dark surface, which is fine. The reason this radio completely fails for me is there's no way to set the volume for the radio alarm and it doesn't maintain the volume that it was previously set to. The speaker quality is actually great for an alarm clock radio, far superior than that of my other more expensive alarm clock radio, but when the alarm goes off the volume starts low but quickly increases to the max volume, which is quite loud. I'm a fairly light sleeper so don't need much to wake me in the morning. I find beeping/buzzer alarms quite jarring. Instead, I like to wake up slowly to the radio at a low volume. This radio alarm at max volume is just as bad as a buzzer alarm, thus totally useless to me.Almost a home run but a huge failing makes it junk to me. Sent it back.
