I bought these for my wife who is an adamant writer and writes in a journal daily. She loves these because they write nice and smooth and the carrying case means she can take them on trips when we travel and not have a gazillion pens everywhere in our car.

I splurged on this set, thinking I was really getting myself a great treat for art journals, coloring books, and miscellaneous adventures. Had it on my wish list for months, and finally bought myself my wonderful treat in euphoric excitement.Not so much excitement after receiving them. I am just as happy using the much cheaper Fiskar's set of 48 pens.These pens are good. Lots of repeats, which I knew and expected, and can use. Never use neon, so those I give away. Pens flow inconsistently. I have more problems with these than with the Fiskars, in terms of the ink running smoothly and consistently.The biggest disappointment, though, are these cases. Really useless. The pens don't stay in place well. I find the cases too cumbersome, and more work than they are worth.I am not crapping out the rating, because I suppose others may enjoy them. For me, they are just a waste of space and bulky -- the pens are good, but I am just as happy if not happier with other gel pens that are much cheaper.In short, good, not great. And I would rather have bought another package of Fiskars, saved my money, and bought some Caran d'Ache supplies for my fine art projects.

Just got these pens on April 2nd 2015. (took the longest range of time to arrive plus a day.) Tried them all out- about 4 of them I had to really work to get the ink to flow-(the milky ones about only 4 in my set are a bit more runny) and one I had to throw away since it would not write- but thankfully it was a double color of black. There are at least 5 colors where you get 2 of. Disappointing that there are only 3 shades of yellows and 2 shades reds. There are a good assortment of greens, oranges, blues, and purples. The glitter ones are OK- but I have other glitter gel pens that are more glittery.The case does sit nicely and stores the pens well. Someone else mentioned that the colors of pens are random..with my set I've seen this too. Then pen ink flows OK and the caps stay on well and the comfort grip is good too. However for the price of over $30 I thought they would be better- since I've gotten pens from local craft stores in sets of 8 or 12 for under $6 and they work just as well or even better.

These pens are worthless. On the first day I through away about six pens. I expect everyday to be about the same. They look like they would have a lot of ink but I found some dry from the beginning, some the ink was not even flow, and some nice even flow from the start but soon stopped writing. The only good thing is that when the pens are gone I am gong to use the cases for my colored pencils.

It's a shame there are only 5 stars ! I was so impressed with this purchase and the price I paid,that I ordered another set right away. The color selection is great,and I have not come across a single pen that suffers any imperfection. No dryness,no breaks,no problems ! You couldn't come close to beating the price of this set,.... at any store,.... I don't care where you shop.... and that's assuming you could find a set this big. If you decide to buy this set I promise you won't be disappointed. I know I'll be back.

Great set of gel pens. All the colors you need for doodle art! Sadly two of my brown shades do not work. But 70 other great colors including metallics and pastels.

I thought I would be getting 72 different colors. Not the case....I received 72 pens, but some of the pens are the same colors. I do like these pens. The ink flow runs easily. I just wish I would have gotten what was advertised in the description of the pens.

I purchased these pens to use for zentangle - i thought the variety of colors would be great. Unfortunately the ink does not flow well - feels like you are scratching the paper to get a somewhat even flow of ink - and the result is not very smooth or pleasing. So returned these. These would probably be great for kids but not if you want to use for any artwork.
