A·TRUEOrigin Pure Balancing Cleansing Foam

I've been using this cleanser for 2 days (2x per day) and I've already seen an improvement in my complexion. I really do feel like it does what it claims to do in that it balances the pH of the skin. The cleanser is semi-creamy but doesn't leave a film like others do. Skin feels clean afterwards, without feeling dried out. I will continue to use it and if I see further changes will edit the review. The only two negatives I see are that 1) the ingredient list is not in English on the bottle but it is here in the listing. 2) the smell is not great but I guess that means it's not full of extra perfume. It smells a little like almonds and quite a bit like Cerave cleanser, which I also don't care for the smell of but it's a good cleanser.

On the positive side, this is a large bottle of cleanser! I love the squeeze bottle for knowing how much you're using. The product itself is creamy and has a pearly/shimmery look to it. It lathers up really nice!The down sides for me are:1) The smell...I can't quite put my finger on it. It's almost chemical smelling and doesn't have a pleasant smell at all.2) I do have sensitive skin, and it stings a little bit going on and even for a few minutes after my shower, my face feels tight and stings. My cheeks are red and blotchy when I get done using it. Once I apply hydrochloric acid and a moisturizer, it's ok, but I don't care for the feeling right after using this cleanser.For me, it didn't work.

I seldom use cleansing foam but had the opportunity to try this so went for it. It is very thick and emollient. In fact, the first couple of times I used it, I couldn't tolerate how heavy it felt on my face. But, I've learned to adjust the amount I use. It's about 1/2 the size of a pea but if I put that into my palm and add some warm water, it foams up enough to easily wash my entire face. It rinses off well and doesn't leave any residual and it washes out completely from my washcloth. The smell is subtle and pleasant. I don't have the feeling my skin feels any differently since I started using it. But I've only been using it for a few days.

This is the first product I've tried from A*TRUE and it didn't disappoint. This cleanser is gentle just as described, which gives me some relief from all the harsh salicylic acid washes I use to manage oily skin. It has a very mild scent and lathers with ease. My face feels less irritated than normal, probably because it is pH-balanced not to cause irritation. I love it because it cleans my skin well but leaves my face soft and not dried out. I'd definitely recommend this to people of all skin types as there are no harsh active ingredients, making it a wonderful all-purpose daily face wash.

I've given this some time but I just can't use it anymore. After the first use, I was concerned. My face looked so weathered and dry. I didn't have any irritation or anything, just...idk. I looked aged another 5 years. I shrugged it off thinking over time it would even out or something but it just makes my face so dry. I don't think a product has ever done that to my skin before. Unfortunately I can't use this product.
