Update 11/2022: I'm finally here looking for a replacement pair of slippers after five years of wearing them essentially every day. My original pair has one little hole starting at the base of my big toe, where my foot flexes while walking. The leather is still in great shape. Some of the stitching holding the sole to the wool is coming loose. If I wanted, I could absolutely fix these slippers with a few hand stitches and have all least another five years out of them. I might just keep them as a backup pair in case I lose the new pair I plan to order. I love that my feet stay a comfortable temperature in them. They're never hot and sweaty, and they stay nicely warm on the coldest days.Update 12/2019: After wearing these slippers daily for more than two years, I'm still madly in love with them. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. The leather on the sole has gotten shiny and doesn't have the soft suede finish any more, but the leather is 100% intact, with no thin spots or holes. I wear them mostly inside, but do occasionally wear them outside to take out the trash. They're worth every penny.This is my first pair of felted wool slippers, and I'm officially hooked. I've owned many pairs of leather/shearling slippers, and they never kept my feet as comfortable as these do.I have neuropathy in my feet from chemo 20+ years ago. They always feel cold, even if they're not cold to touch, and they're usually mildly achy. If they actually GET cold, they ache terribly, and my circulation is compromised - my toes turn blue, and the tops of my feet go white. The only way to warm them up is in a hot water soak.These slippers don't let my feet get to that point. They're always warm and dry - never clammy like they can get in a shearling slipper. I would highly recommend these to anyone.

These bootiesare wonderful. I have two pair of the shoe type slipper, which I love, but the booties are my favorites. The extra height on the ankle and heel keep my feet warmer and they feel more supportive. They are very easy to get on and off and the extra height at the back of my foot gives me something to grab on to in order to fully seat my foot in the booties.

These are my solution to going through multiple pairs of socks a day while working from home; we have dogs who track in snow and drip water on the floors, and I am human and particularly in traditional slippers, my feet sweat, either cold sweat or from overheating.These slippers are soft and comfortable; a compromise between a shoe and just wearing socks. They remind me most of my Steger Mukluks for cold weather, or perhaps something like a barefoot running shoe. Allows my feet to move and flex naturally, but provides additional padding and excellent warmth. I debated on purchasing a less expensive slipper, but these are meeting my every desire, particularly in the “warmth without sweat” category. These slippers entirely solve the floor seeping the heat out of my feet, and keeps me able to comfortably be still to do my desk job without getting cold and uncomfortable.I tend to trust in my European size (41) and went with that, as most of my roomier for winter warmth footwear is a 41.5 size. I wear these slippers barefoot primarily and the fit is wonderful, but I can wear thinner wool socks with them if I do desire. I’ve had them about two weeks at this point, and the suede leather sole is just starting to show some tiny areas of smoothing after being worn at least a couple hours a day inside with the briefest journeys out on the porch. I’m thrilled with this purchase and will be back for more, should my current pair need replacing; I’ll update this review should they disappoint, but for now I am in love!

I took a giant chance, replacing my much-beloved sheepskin LLBean slippers with these, and I love, love, love them. I'd had the other ones for more than ten years, and the ones before that for 10+ years. I was quite nervous about choosing a different kind, but these looked like they might hold their shape longer, be equally as warm, and perhaps not be quite as floppy (even though the floppy doesn't happen until the 8 yr mark). I've had them a week, and I am SO HAPPY! I will report back 10+ years from now when I have to replace these, but they definitely feel like they'll be good at least that long. I was most worried that they wouldn't keep my ankles warm and that they'd be hard to get on and off. No problem on either front. Looking forward to many years of warm feet! Like my old ones, the leather soles are quiet when walking around the house--they feel like slippers, not shoes.

I bought these because I revarnished my stairs with a product that is slippery as heck in socks and I was tired of mincing fearfully down holding onto the rail with both hands like I was on the side of a glassy mountain. I have bought umpteen pairs of slippers over the years and I always wear them for a week and can't get into a routine with them. But these are life-changing slippers. They stay on your feet, even when you're wearing them on the couch and getting them tangled in the blankets. The leather soles let me prance up and down my staircase-of-death like a billy goat. My feet feel like they are snuggled in cozy cocoons. Once I wore them to work because they feel so much like proper shoes that you forget you are in slippers. I didn't notice until I was walking through the drifts of snow and I thought: gosh my feet are awfully cozy - usually they are much colder.My one caveat is that they did chafe my ankles until they were broken in. There's nothing rough about the wool, the simple cut edge just rubs against your dry winter skin and even leaves marks. You're not supposed to wear them with socks, but I started wearing them with socks just until they were broken in. Now I don't have the issue anymore. The green color is very dark - you wouldn't necessarily look at them and think green unless they were in strong natural light.

I am honestly completely happy with these, and I'm looking forward to enjoying them for the several years Glerups last. My only tiny hang-up is that I expected the colour to be like "oatmeal" or "sand," but it's more like "crusty putty." But what the heck - the countdown is on for me staining them by dropping or spilling food all over them, anyway.

Ein tolles Material, gut verarbeitet, wärmend, sehr angenehmer Tragekomfort, auch ohne Socken und Strümpfe. Ich hatte bislang nur Pantoffeln dieses Herstellers und habe nach einer "Ausbaustufe" gesucht. Deshalb kann ich aus Erfahrung sagen, dass die Haltbarkeit gut ist.Die Ledersohle ist nicht für den harten Außeneinsatz bestimmt, aber für einen Weg über den Hausflur reicht sie völlig aus.

Das sind die besten Hausschuhe seit vielen Jahren!Sie sind sehr gut verarbeitet, leicht, richtig schön warm und leicht aus- und anzuziehen. Ich habe sie eine Nummer größer bestellt, damit sie mit dickeren Strümpfen passen, und sie sitzen wie angegossen. Besonders gut gefällt mir die durchgehende Ledersohle, die ein sehr weiches Gehen möglich macht. Manche Hersteller von Hausschuhen setzen in die Sohlen Plastikteile unter Fußballen und Ferse ein und genau diese Teile werden zum Problem, da sie mit dem umgebenden Leder vernäht sind und die Naht innerhalb kürzerer Zeit durch Abnutzung kaputtgeht. Dann löst sich die Sohle auf und man kann die Schuhe wegwerfen. Außerdem machen die Plastiksohlen die Schuhe steif und laut. Ich bin mit den glerups Hausschuhen sehr zufrieden!
