The pillow themselves are exactly as advertised. You will need to air them out for a couple days to get rid of the gas smell but it does go away.

I originally ordered these because my son kept stealing a different kind I bought for myself awhile back. Turns out, however, this two pack has been life saver for ME! My son got a pillow and I got a pillow. The original pillow I bought was hard as rock, but turns out was really good for keeping my leg elevated so my ankle wouldn't touch the bed... I have a weird ankle that becomes painful with too much pressure, even laying it on the bed for too long can be too much... I digress!Around Christmas, my arm/shoulder became so painful I couldn't even hardly use/move/lift it. This pillow is so soft and squishy, I put it underneath my arm when I lie my back and my arm just melts into it like it's butter. Nestles itself a nice little nootch into it, gets (semi) comfy so I can get a few hrs of sleep, before I'm back up in excruciating pain again. But, it's lovely!I don't think I have been able to get ANY sleep without this pillow. I know it isn't intended use, but there ya go!!

I purchased these because the price was too good to pass up. They came to me with a really bad chemical smell so I tossed them in the washer assuming it would come out. I put these through the wash twice and they still smelled bad so I did my handy plastic bag with a baking soda sachets and silica packets and let it sit for a few weeks. This trick managed to get the smoke smell from a stuffed animal that survived a house fire but would have had to be tossed because of smoke damage. It's been several weeks and the smells still there so not sure what to do with these now since I can't use them 😕
