The chair comes in 4 pieces and only needs two screws to assemble. Very simple to use and feels very sturdy. I am a 200 lbs male and sitting in the chair still feels very secured. The chair is built for a slim figure so those with a waist more than 34” would feel very tight. The only bad thing about this item was that the paddings were screwed in with the bag wrapping on so removing the bag completely is not possible as the bag is screwed in under the paddings. Ripping the bag would leave remnants sticking out. Those with OCD will find that quite annoying. Besides that I do not observe and other downsides to this item. Does what it promises and feel very sturdy at first use.

My husband has MS. This is a nice strong chair but it wasn’t wide enough and it didn’t fit under his bed. The foot plate came up the same time you raised the seat and this was a problem causing him to tilt back. He also didn’t have enough tone in his back for support while I tried to get him on the seat part of the chair . He had trouble with the way you had to tilt to get the seat under himself. It doesn’t maneuver well in tight places . He is 5.9 inches and a 180 pounds , he was to big . Thank you !

This is a good chair but the patient has to have some upper body strength to help maneuver onto the seat. For that reason it did not work for my 92 year old father. He is very frail and weak. Otherwise it's very sturdy and maneuverable. Very easy assembly. Didn't even need to look at the instructions. Easily disassembled and repackaged in the original box. For this reason worth ordering it and giving it a try.

It need to be higher and bottom wide to transfer patient from and to a wheelchair. please let me know when you have one.

wheels will not go under most furn. have to lay in floor to insert potty, hard to push on carpet

This simply will not work for a tall person because the length between the seat and the footrests cannot be changed and it is very short. This is not included in the description, only a weight maximum.
