Camera losses signal easily. Poor display at night also.

1080P front camera 720P rear camera. Screen folds down to allow more windshield to be viewed and allows front camera to be raised and lowered. No documentation but functionality is intuitive. Plenty of spare cable on both power and video. Backup lines appear when car is in reverse and wired to back up lights. DVR format is AVI. Has off/on switch as well as automatic mode. Magnetic mount with two adhesive strips for dashboard mounting. On screen capability for viewing of recordings. Rear view recording is reversed (ie Stop sign lettering will appear backwards) but when live viewing screen for backing up objects will appear on the same side of the screen as they are in relationship to the car (ie if an object is on the left side of the car when backing up it will be on the left side of the screen)

Hooked it up. Doesn't work properly. Shorts out at the most inconvenient times.

In summary, this is another product to avoid if you're looking for something that will work reliably.In detail:First of all, the clamshell covering the wireless transmitter physically located on the camera wire is NOT in any way waterproof. The antenna wire is also open and exposed. Since this part has to be installed somewhere on the vehicle exterior, it's a very bad start. Best case, this means that this device will not stand up to wet climates. You'll be replacing it very quickly.I took the chance anyway. I waterproofed the module with marine-grade techniques to see how well the camera would perform. End result? I regularly experienced glitchy video that drops out all too frequently, and this is simply when the camera is installed on a standard-duty pickup truck. Imagine what problems you would have if this were installed on the back of an RV or trailer.That's not the half of it, however. The camera casing snapped apart and fell free on its own when exposed to sub-0°C temperatures! The seals are very poor and waterproofing was minimal at most. Needless to say, I fully expect it to fail completely in a very short period of time.

I bought this product mainly for rear view camera since my car's rear window tinted very dark. It is very basic dash cam and 7" touch screen with low profile is a big plus. The rear view image you see on the led screen is mirrored image just like what you see in your rear view mirror. It's firmware does not have function of ADAS DRIVING ASSISTANCE as shown in above picture (it might be just my copy). Once I have time and I will install it in my car. Not sure if it can be updated and wish seller give me an answer.

We couldn't get the camera or receiver to power on. It could be we just got a bad unit, but can only speak to my own experience.

No printed instructions to use to install the back up camera. Please add instruction, which details on mounting and wiring process. Also maybe do a YouTube video. Thank you for backing up your product and service!
