Let's me mount handheld antenna outside car for better reception. Had to buy second one because sma connection to radio came off cable on first one, will try to repair in spare time. Simple and elegant solution.

Nice window mount. Works well. I can reach a local repeater with an 8W HT and a rubber ducky antenna by using this mount. Quick install. I would recommend finding a rubber cap to put over the connector when not in use to keep it dry.

Got a few months of service out of the device, but one day when I got home the antenna and the base was no longer on the device. Had to throw it away. It needs to be built better to withstand normal long term use. May be ok for a short time, but not used on a daily basis.

Just recently bought this for my car and mounted a Expert Power 14.5 whip on it and using my 2 meter Yaesu FT-25R I was able to hit a repeater that was 40 miles away. I like the window mount as I can switch it between my beater car I drive to work and my good car for weekends. Coax could have been a couple of feet longer and a little larger in diameter. Coax is a little on the fragile looking side but it is doing OK so far. Angle of the antenna is a little off as I needed to bend the mount a little to get the antenna away from the cars roof line. I may buy another one for my truck for hunting season and use it as a spare.

This antenna clip is very nice it is a quick and fast clip on antenna. I use it with my handheld radio on my car.

I bought this almost exactly 11 months ago. It got used on a regular, but not quite daily basis. The antenna on the window mount was put on and never taken off. The radio on the other end did get taken off and put back on regularly, but it was always treated well (never screwed in / out while gripping just the cable). On a hot day, I unscrewed this from the radio, and the whole fitting came apart. I don't know if it was wear over time, or if the fitting was never crimped properly and the heat loosened things up just enough for it to pull out. Either way, this shouldn't happen.They aren't expensive. but ordering another one is inconvenient because they have to ship from China. The Amazon listing even says you're going to wait 20-50 days for it. With the popularity of the Chinese radios and the Nagoya antennas on Amazon, that doesn't make sense to me. This part should be stocked somewhere in the US...

I bought the product to use on my Baofeng radios. I haven't used it as intended on a vehicle. I have used it indoors to extend the range of my radio. At times transmitting can be difficult. Using the antenna indoor has increased my communication ability greatly. It's a good product for those who need extra range but can't put up an external antenna. I would recommend this product. I used the Bingfu antenna with the product. I'd suggest if you do have it exposed to the elements. Use some thing like electrical tape around the connector to ensure it's water proof. It's also good to carry in a back pack if camping and you want to have an advantage over your factory antenna. You can hang it in a tree or connect it to a walking stick to hold it above your head for better communications. Great product!
